21:27 BST 21 May 2015As The Kop might sing, it's time to walk on. Hope you've enjoyed our Steven Gerrard trip down Memory Lane. Make no mistake, Liverpool will miss the leadership qualities and dedication of an Anfield icon while the Premier League is waving goodbye to a tremendous servant.
The former England captain's Anfield farewell against Crystal Palace might not have gone to script but Gerrard can still sign off on a winning note by helping Liverpool win at Stoke City on the final day of the season on Sunday.
If you want to read more about Stevie G there is loads of content on the BBC Sport website ranging from his career in stickers to a quiz.
Thanks so much for your company and all your text messages and tweets.
I'll leave the last word to Liverpool's iconic No 8...

Daily Telegraph's Henry Winter: "That 15 minutes at half time was key. It wasn't just the tactical thing, it wasn't just the dressing room being open to hear the crowd. Rafa's team talk was very emotional."

Times football editor Tony Evans: "Stevie did a number of shifts that night in Istanbul for Liverpool. When he scored he started waving his hands to call the crowd. The next few minutes were a blur. Why is football great? Because of times like those six minutes in Istanbul."

21:22 BST 21 May 2015"I think when you are captain and you're asked a question in front of the cameras you have to be honest, or what is the point in speaking? Players who say the wrong thing, or lie, or twist what is really happening out there . . . what is the point? I'd rather not go and speak."

21:19 BST 21 May 2015Ex-Liverpool boss Gerrard Houllier, who gave Gerrard his debut in 1998, to BBC Sport: "I have plenty of favourite memories of Stevie. He scored in the final in Dortmund. At the time he was not even 21. He played in every important game that contributed to the treble. When it matters most you can always rely on him."

21:13 BST 21 May 2015It appears not everyone is a fan of Mr Gerrard...
Mulborough: Gerrard grossly overrated, complacent player allowed to rule roost. Committed some terrible fouls too but media glossed over.

21:10 BST 21 May 2015Ex-Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso talking to BBC Sport about Gerrard's impact:
"It is difficult to pick one moment. His goal against Olympiakos gave us the chance to get through the knock out stage and finally winning the Champions League. I remember the goal in the FA Cup final when he scored an unbelievable strike. It is difficult to pick one.
"He could play in any national team in the world. His name and the Liverpool name will always be linked."

Katy Miles: Istanbul, dad screaming not to pass the ball to Smicer, then nearly strangling my brother when it went in.
rjelley: Istanbul...thinking about it still sends shivers down my spine. Changed my view on destiny with Dudek's double save.

21:07 BST 21 May 2015An extraordinary Champions League victory inspired by an extraordinary player.
With Liverpool trailing 3-0 at half-time in the final against AC Milan on 25 May 2005, Gerrard rolls up his sleeves and inspires one of the greatest comebacks ever seen in the Europe's premier club competition. His headed goal immediately after the break gives the Reds a glimmer of a chance before the midfielder creates the space for Vladimir Smicer to add a second.
Gerrard then wins the penalty for Alonso to pull Liverpool level - propelling the final into extra-time and penalties.
The rest, as they say, is history.
