    Manuel Lanzini (3 mins)

What a start for West Ham! Martin Skrtel's headed clearance is really poor, it falls at the feet of Aaron Cresswell and his low cross back into the danger area is prodded in by Manuel Lanzini in front of a shocked Kop.

Lanzini, 22, is a recent signing from a club in the UAE.

    Man City 0-0 Watford

An early corner for Manchester City, who are already penning Watford back. It's aimed at Vincent Kompany but the Hornets have enough men back to deal with it.

    Chelsea 0-0 Crystal Palace

John Terry played every minute of last season (I think) but the Chelsea captain is in the stands in some sensible brown knitwear today after his red card at The Hawthorns. Will his absence be felt?

    Aston Villa v Sunderland

England aren't blessed with loads of centre-halves, so I wonder if Micah Richards will come back into the reckoning if he continues to play well as Aston Villa captain? He's leading the handshakes at Villa Park now. Almost set.

Chelsea started pre-season late. I thought Manchester City battered them, thoroughly deserved their win. But I thought Chelsea looked far more of a threat against West Brom. In Pedro they have someone who is able to open teams up more."

Chelsea v Crystal Palace (15:00 BST)

Jose Mourinho and his side have been in the newspapers for weeks and weeks. Often for the wrong reasons.

Can they put on a show today and get the focus back on the pitch?

It's almost 50 years since Mike Summerbee - one of Manchester City's legendary players of the sixties - signed for the club. Today he's presented with a shirt by fellow legends Tony Book and Colin Bell. Nice touch.

Aston Villa assistant manager Ray Wilkins takes time out from his warm-up duties to sign autographs for fans. Like always happens, it was just two little lads when he went over. Then the grown-ups waded in with their programmes and pens.

Ninety-nine games, 76 wins, one defeat, 250 points. We've said it already, but that really is a great record.

Jose Mourinho takes charge of his 100th home fixture as a Premier League manager today, with visitors Crystal Palace facing perhaps the most difficult away trip in world football.

In two spells as Chelsea boss, Mourinho has lost just once in the league at Stamford Bridge - a shock 2-1 loss to Sunderland in April 2014.

His record is the best of any manager in the Premier League era.

BBC Sport's Mark Mitchener at Vitality Stadium:  "Winger Max Gradel, who spent the 2007-08 season at Bournemouth on loan from today's visitors Leicester, is the front cover star of today's match programme.

"He talks about his move from St Etienne back to Dorset this summer - and how returning here allowed him to repay the support Bournemouth gave him after his mother passed away during that loan spell."
