"I'd be very surprised if he doesn't play. I think he might play on the right - Navas has been average over the last two seasons. City are making the pitch as big as they can and giving all the top players more space to play."
Newcastle v Arsenal (12:45 BST)
Donning a tux has worked its magic as new Newcastle signing Florian Thauvit makes his first Premier League start for the club.
Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain start for Arsenal against Newcastle this afternoon, while Laurent Koscielny is fit enough to take his place in the side.

Quote MessageNobody is doing anything wrong in this transfer saga. But John Stones has only made 47 appearances in the Premier League so I can't understand why he wants to rush off and leave Everton yet.

"There's nothing wrong with John Stones handing in a transfer request. He's just trying to better himself, isn't that what we're taught to do in life? He's a great player and he wants to go to arguably the best team in the league."

The focus won't just be on Harry Kane today, with the future of John Stones having been the subject of many newspaper columns this week..

"He's totally suffering from a lack of support. It's difficult watching him because he's such an honest player he works so hard, but he's hardly been supplied with any opportunities whatsoever."

Quote MessageHarry Kane is not getting the ball at the right time. Kane is making the same moves he was last season but it's not happening. He is all about scoring goals.

Could we see the famous Alan Shearer goal celebration replicated if Harry Kane scores against Everton in today's late game?
Shearer asks him why he hasn't got his own celebration yet to which Kane replies: "I just get caught up in the moment. Maybe I'll use yours!"

"You find it a lot at clubs these days, that the manager would rather play a foreign signing than a homegrown player. But sometimes you just need to be given a chance.
"I'm looking to be an England number nine for many years to come, but there are other top forwards - Daniel Sturridge, Danny Welbeck - that I'm going to have to fight off."

Harry Kane, who is waiting for his first goal of the season: "It's only been three games in which I haven't scored!
"It's just about being patient, you can't get too downhearted. It's going to be more difficult this season, because players are more aware of you, but top players deal with that and that's what I'm going to have to do."

First up on Football Focus is Alan Shearer's chat with Harry Kane.

Peter Purves would win the internet if he sent in his anecdote of small talk with footballers.

"Honestly Florian, all the lads wear a tux for Saturday home games."
Is there some sort of bet going on at Newcastle?
After Chancel Mbemba turned on the style by rocking up in a tuxedo for Newcastle's first home game of the season earlier this month, now Florian Thauvin has got in on the act.

Derby v Leeds (12:05 BST)
The lunchtime kick-off from the Championship is a meeting of the draw specialists. Derby and Leeds have played eight league games between them this season without a win to show for it. Neither have been beaten yet, though, either.
County are firm favourites for this one. The Rams have won each of their last six league games at home to Leeds, and are unbeaten in their last eight against them at the iPro Stadium.
They also welcome back Jeff Hendrick and Jamie Hanson, allowing Paul Clement to revert back to 4-3-3, a formation, mirrored by Leeds boss Uwe Rosler, who has midfielder Lewis Cook back after suspension.
