Birmingham City goalscorer Stephen Gleeson told Sky Sports:

"When we score, we like to hit teams on the counter attack and that's how we capitalised tonight.

"They're a top, top side and we're happy with the point, but we could've defended and countered a bit better.

"They're a dangerous side with top quality players who are always on you, so it was hard work to defend against them."

  3. Player reactionpublished at 21:41

Derby winger Tom Ince told Sky Sports:

"Birmingham played well in the first half. We've had a lot of games in the last week and they came out sharp.

"We've given away a sloppy goal, but in the second half we dominated.

"We had a lot of chances, the keeper pulled off some fantastic saves, we hit the post twice, so we'll look back and think we could have nicked it."
