Another passing move for Spurs, another Ryan Mason shot. This time the midfielder drills well over the bar from about 25 yards. 

Spurs not showing too much jetlag after their million-mile (well 2,446) journey to Azerbaijan.

A bit of Fiffi-Faffa from Spurs in midfield and they lose the ball.

But they win it back and Ryan Mason forces a save from Ibrahim Sehic. Well it was straight at the Qarabag captain, but it counts as a shot on target.

Qarabag putting a good passing move together early on but Toby Alderweireld comes across to quell that attack.

Liverpool's Group B rivals FC Sion have lost 2-0 away to Rubin Kazan. It means Jurgen Klopp's side will go top of the table - as well as qualifying for the last 32 with one game to spare - if they defeat Bordeaux later on. Sion's last group game is at home to Liverpool on 10 December.

Elsewhere, Borussia Dortmund, who have already qualified from the group stages, have lost 1-0 at Krasnodar, while Dinamo Minsk have their first win of the Group E campaign with a 1-0 victory over Viktoria Plzen.

"We believe this team is a strong team to try to win. l know it's a difficult game at Qarabag. 

On the 2,446-mile journey: "It's a very long way, but now it's in our head. We are ready. There are no excuses."

Qarabag are originally from Agdam but the city was destroyed in the Nagorno-Karabakh War in the 1990s.

It was once a city of 50,000 people, who all fled when Armenia attacked. Every Azeri house in the town was blown up to discourage return. 

The club now play in Baku, over 200 miles away.  

Former Spurs keeper Brad Friedel, who retired in the summer, is now the club's ambassador in the United States.
