    At least they don't have Luis Suarez to contend with...or Stewart Downing. That lad is ripping it up in the Championship at the moment.

    "I think it's ridiculous he is supposedly under pressure. Last season they had the most points they've ever earned in the Premier League. They are not going through a great run at the minute but is there a glass ceiling for these clubs? Just because he is not achieving what he achieved last season, it doesn't make him a bad manager."

    It's a results business. Swansea haven't been getting them at the moment and inevitably there is chat of boss Garry Monk's job being under threat.

    Monk took charge in February 2014 after Michael Laudrup's departure, guiding the Swans to their highest league position of eighth last season, and is confident of leading the team out of their slump.

    "You have good periods and bad periods throughout every season. The main point is we trust what we do," Monk said.

    "We've been very successful in my time here as a manager and the players trust that. Everyone throughout the club trusts that process."

    The Liverpool players and fans will be buzzing after their thumping victory over Manchester City last weekend. The old gegenpress style of play accustomed to Jurgen Klopp was in action as the Reds pressed the Blues into submission.

    Swansea have won just once in their last nine league games - against bottom side Aston Villa - and their tiki-taka is not quite 

    Is a change of tactics needed from Garry Monk? Can they turn their form around at Anfield or will the home side continue their recovery?
