No doubt about the shock of the day.

Southern League Premier Division side Chesham beating League Two Bristol Rovers.

An absolutely magnificent effort from Barry Hayles and co.

And it's certainly got you talking...

Maidenhead shut up in the first 20 minutes, exactly what we were asking them to do. But if you keep giving a decent side like Port Vale opportunities, they will take one. Maidenhead though have had their chances, it should be 1-1.

Bristol Rovers had over 5,000 at the game today - big support. They should not be going out of the FA Cup. This is a big shock.

  8. Chesham knock Bristol Rovers outpublished at 16:04

    FT: Bristol Rovers 0-1 Chesham

Fabulous scenes at the Memorial Ground as the Southern League Premier Division side celebrate their famous win.

They had a great chance to elad in the first half but Pirates keeper Lee Nicholls saved Dave Pearce's penalty.

They were not to be denied though and Ryan Blake's low 25 yarder evaded Nicholls with 13 minutes to go and some fantastic saves from Shane Gore and brilliant last-ditch defending saw them see out six miunutes of injury-time.

They had to defend well. They were resilient at times. What a story this is.

The ball just about goes out for a Chesham goalkick.

    Bristol Rovers 0-1 Chesham

I have lost count of how many corners Bristol Rovers have had in the last five minutes.

This time the referee spots an infringement and gives a free-kick to Chesham.

Still Bristol Rovers press and still Chesham hold on.

Goalkeeper Shane Gore is not a popular man with home fans as he kicks the ball out with two Chesham players down with cramp.
