Chance for Bournemouth, and it's an early marker. The Cherries rob Eden Hazard, cross from the right but Gary Cahill blocks Junior Stanislas' fierce shot. That was travelling. 

The corner is headed away but fed back out to Willian, and the Chelsea player whips in a fine cross but Artur Boruc dives to smother it. 

Willian seeing plenty of the ball early on, plays in Cesc Fabregas, and wins a corner for the hosts.

Bournemouth have their first foray into Chelsea territory. Junior Stanislas gets free from a one-two but the return pass is a bit heavy and it runs out of play.

Chelsea still on the attack as they work it left to Pedro and then right to Branislav Ivanovic, who is skipper today but the ball is just a little too strong for Eden Hazard. He's up for it.

Both these teams are struggling for points in the Premier League and in the BBC Sport Predictor league. Chelsea fans are 18th, while Bournemouth are 14th.

"Bournemouth and Chelsea may only have taken a point each last weekend but both managers seemed well satisfied with that.

"Jose Mourinho declared it Chelsea's best performance in weeks, whilst Eddie Howe delighted in his side's character to come back against Everton in a game they twice seemed to have lost.

"You have to feel for Howe. There were always going to be some tough days for Bournemouth this season, but to have his most expensive signings injured and potentially be down to his third-choice goalkeeper seems particularly cruel.

"Bournemouth continue to ignore adversity and try to play with verve and spirit, but if they get anything at all at Stamford Bridge then Mourinho really will be at rock bottom."

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho says he has no problem with Diego Costa but ex-Blues winger Pat Nevin does.

“Watching him in last five or six games it is getting annoying that he refusing to get into six yard box," the former Scotland winger tells 5 live Sport.

Maybe that's why he's not in the team?

Diego Costa is on the bench again, so Eden Hazard starts up front as he did against Tottenham. After a three-month absence with a knee injury Thibaut Courtois is back in the Chelsea goal and Baba Rahman replaces Cesar Azpilicueta at left-back.

Bournemouth survive their injury goalkeeper crisis as Artur Boruc recovers from a knee problem to replace the injured Adam Federici. Adam Smith is in for the ill Sylvain Distin in defence.  The last time Boruc started a game was in that 5-1 defeat by Tottenham, a game in which he had a shocker.
