  1. 'A positive point for us'published at 18:24 Greenwich Mean Time 20 December 2015

    Swansea 0-0 West Ham

    West Ham United

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic, speaking to BBC Sport: "It's a good point for us. I want to praise my team because they showed great spirit. It was a good collective performance. Exactly what I said when those injuries hit us big time a few weeks ago, was the only way we can compensate is with teamwork. That is exactly what we've done in the last three games. Three clean sheets and three points. I really want to praise the guys.

"Swansea started well, we didn't and I'm not happy about that. But after 35 minutes we started to press higher, keep the ball better, they had a few chances, we made some great blocks but we had some good situations and chances too

"The draw is a good result. Considering everything, it’s a big question mark - can we play offensively better than today without five really important players for us? That’s why this point is even bigger, it’s a positive point for us."

  2. 'We are not a bottom three side'published at 18:18 Greenwich Mean Time 20 December 2015

    Swansea 0-0 West Ham

    Swansea City

Swansea City caretaker manager Alan Curtis, speaking to BBC Sport: "I thought we played well. In terms of the possession we looked like the kind of Swansea team we’ve seen over the last couple of seasons, but we possibly lacked a cutting edge up front. We could be more positive in our passing more as well, but I’m sure the chances will come and when they do hopefully we’ll get that bit of luck which we didn’t today, and can that elusive win.

"We said the season started last week for us. At Manchester City we were a lot better, and that today was certainly better than the last few home games. We picked up a point and a clean sheet, it’s just that final third where we need to find that little bit of magic from somebody. I don’t think we are a bottom three side. We are there, but in the quality of the last two performances, whoever does come in will be confident they can lift us up the table.

"For now we have to prepare as normal. We will carry on until the chairman and the board tells us otherwise."

  3. 'Payet coming back'published at 18:17 Greenwich Mean Time 20 December 2015

    Swansea 0-0 West Ham

"It is a good point for us and a third clean sheet in a row. They were very good in the first 25 minutes but we showed great character and spirit.

"We are losing some important players on the ball and the only way we can compensate for that loss is through teamwork and defending well and we are doing that.

"Payet, Lanzini, Sakho, Moses, Valencia, Carroll it is a different story with them when we have the ball. The guys who played played very well but it looks like a couple of them could be back soon. We hope that Payet could be back for the Liverpool game."

West Ham play Liverpool on 2 January.

  4. Curtis ready to continuepublished at 18:09 Greenwich Mean Time 20 December 2015

    Swansea 0-0 West Ham

    Swansea City

Swansea caretaker manager Alan Curtis: "We were excellent today. It is the way we have always played over the last seven or eight years. They showed no sign of nerves and responded well to slipping into the bottom three.

"We can all see that we are lacking a cutting edge. At least we looked like a Swansea City team again but we need to find something in the final third. Can we pass it forwards a bit quicker? Perhaps there is a need to do that.

"We could have had a penalty and that is something we need at the moment. If we had gone a goal up we would have relaxed.

"I have to presume that I am in charge for the next few games as time is tight but if someone comes in they will obviously take over."

Swansea remain in the relegation zone after that draw but whoever does come in will surely fancy their chances of steering them upwards and onwards.

You'd rather inherit the Swansea squad than most in the bottom six - wouldn't you?

West Ham midfielder Mark Noble: "We didn’t really get going today. It’s another draw for us but they are important points for us.

"We have lost a lot of players and to come away to a team with no manager, it’s a good point. Goals will come. We couldn’t stop scoring at the start of the season."

  8. Shot-shy Swanspublished at 17:59 Greenwich Mean Time 20 December 2015

    John Hartson
Former Wales striker on 5 live

"Swansea will be happy with the clean sheet but they dominated all over the park and will be disappointed with only two efforts on target.

"At least they haven't lost thought and they relied on Fabianski to make the best save of the game on Enner Valencia.

"They're in relegation form at the moment and need goals to help them get out of it - Gomis was strong up front today but there wasn't enough threat on goal."

  9. 'Two points dropped'published at 17:59 Greenwich Mean Time 20 December 2015

    Swansea 0-0 West Ham

Swansea captain Ashley Williams:"We had all the chances and we feel it is two points dropped. We are happy to keep a clean sheet but we need points.

"We kept the ball better then we have been, it’s what you have come to expect from us over the past few years. We’d all like [a new manager] sooner rather than later but until then we keep going and be professional."

  10. Hartson's Hammers verdictpublished at 17:56 Greenwich Mean Time 20 December 2015

    John Hartson
Former Wales striker on 5 live

"West Ham will be a lot happier than Swansea there, they've gone away with a well-earned point as they defended strongly.

"They had a game plan to pack the midfield and James Collins was a rock at the back but they weren't much of a threat up top.

"Yet they will be delighted not to lose given all their injury problems."

FT - Swansea 0-0 West Ham

West Ham terrifically solid at the back - three 0-0s on the bounce for the first time ever in the league for them.

    James Collins was superb.

Swansea fans are clapping off their side, and they deserve it. They lacked edge in the final third but plenty of effort and a willingness to play good football.

Possibly also a thanks to caretaker boss Alan Curtis.

Enner Valencia is a man who knows how to sum up 90 minutes in three seconds. He donks a terrible shot all kinds of wide. Superb.

  16. A Dyer showingpublished at 17:47 Greenwich Mean Time 20 December 2015

    John Hartson
Former Wales striker on 5 live

"I know it's hypothetical but this game would've really suited Nathan Dyer - Swansea let him go to Leicester and this is the type of game that would suit him down to the ground with his pace off the bench.

"I just can't understand why they let him go - we were talking about him breaking into the England squad a couple of years ago, that's how good he was at Swansea."

This game has been plenty Dyer in other ways though John...sorry.

I almost don't want a goal in this game now, because that would give this match a billing it does not deserve.
