Kieran Trippier has been a decent outlet for Spurs and the right-back is again in an advanced position to send in a threatening cross which keeper Heurelho Gomes punches away with Harry Kane lurking.

Spurs striker Harry Kane opts to shoot from 25 yards and sees his effort go well high and wide. The effort doesn't go down too well with team-mate Erik Lamela, who feels the better option was to pass to him.

Just what is Eric Dier's best position? Defensive midfielder? Full-back? Centre-back?

Today he's taking up a bit of a sweeper role in front of Hugo Lloris (aka Hugh Laurie by certain Spurs fans...)
