    Watford 0-0 Tottenham

Tottenham right-back Kieran Trippier delivers a dangerous cross into the Watford box and defender Miguel Britos does well to glance the ball wide.

From the corner, ex-Spurs keeper Heurelho Gomes makes a hash of coming out to punch the ball away before the ball is headed out for another corner which is then cleared.

    Garth Crooks
Former Spurs striker on Final Score

"I don't think Spurs' team can win the title, they don't have the steel to do it or the class of players. I see too many games Spurs play well and do not take maximum points.

"Harry Kane has all the pieces of jigsaw to be top class, he just needs to help get Spurs in the top four and that is the acid test for me."

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino says 22-year-old striker Harry Kane is not for sale at any price.

Kane scored twice in Saturday's 3-0 win over Norwich to reach 11 Premier League goals this season and 27 for 2015, breaking Teddy Sheringham's club record for league goals in a calendar year.

Last term the England man scored 31 times in all competitions during a breakthrough campaign at senior level.

"There is no price. No-one can buy him," said Pochettino. "He is not for sale. There is not a value because it is impossible to put a price."

Watford's form might be a surprise to some but not to Hornets boss Quique Sanchez Flores, whose side drew 2-2 at Chelsea on Boxing Day.

"We are always thinking we can win," he said. "We train thinking that we can win. That is our mentality.

"I am really happy because I am not surprised, and the squad is not surprised, when we draw at Chelsea.

"Maybe some players are a little bit angry to only draw as they feel in the second half we had opportunities, so my job now is to say to them, 'it was a good result, Chelsea have really good players' and try to give value to the draw."

    MOTD commentator at Vicarage Road

"While Leicester City's stunning achievements so far this season have understandably grabbed the headlines, Watford's excellent start to the campaign puts them second in the 'surprise team of the season' table.

"Their current five-match unbeaten run has taken them to within 11 points of the 40-point barrier, the holy grail for any promoted side. For the Hornets' more optimistic fans, though, it's also put them three points off the Champions League places in which opponents Spurs currently reside.

"Both sides have in-form strikers too, Odion Igahlo for the hosts, Harry Kane for the visitors, which adds even greater intrigue to a meeting of two teams whose self-belief and confidence couldn't be higher."

    Mark Lawrenson
    Ex-Liverpool defender

Watford are in danger of stealing Leicester's limelight, they have a real goal threat and are one of a few teams playing 4-4-2. But they have picked up more points away from home then at home this season.

Tottenham are looking good but the way the league is now, if you win three games people start talking about the title! It happened with Liverpool the other week. Tottenham won't win the league but they do look like Champions League contenders. They have only lost two games but they draw too many. They look like signing a striker in January in case Harry Kane falls over and that could be a shrewd move.

    Lawro's prediction: 1-2
