"When you're down to 10 men and manage to come back into the game and get the goal then it feels like a victory.

"Had we stayed with 11 on the pitch I think we could've won the match."

"It's a difficult surface to play on. I think our players, for the first 15 minutes, struggled with the conditions. We then worked our way into the game and got the goal just after half time.

Dundee boss Paul HartleyImage source, SNS

"But credit to Hamilton: down to 10 men, they did well - we should really see the game out at 1-0. We've got to defend better."

  5. St Johnstone 1-2 Partickpublished at 17:32 British Summer Time 17 October 2015

"This [McDiarmid Park] is a tough place to come and we hadn't won here in 20-odd years. St Johnstone were on a great run as well. I'm delighted with the victory; it was hard fought and we made it hard for ourselves in the second half.

Partick Thistle boss Alan ArchibaldImage source, SNS

    "We scored two wonder goals..."

Joe, Partick: Will Scotland + Strachan have a better squad next qualifying round? May lose Darren Fletcher, but will have S Armstrong, Griffiths, Forrest, D Wilson, Lee Wallace, Matt Ritchie, who were not used or not fully used during last campaign. Also important to improve rankings for 2020 campaign.

Anon: Why are Hibs' crowds staying stubbornly low? Despite huge giveaways they can still only get half the crowds Hearts got last season.

Ten-man Accies get the goal their second half play deserves. A low ball across the box is tapped in from close range by Dougie Imrie. The home fans inside New Douglas Park are going bananas!

  19. Hamilton 0-1 Dundeepublished at 16:42 British Summer Time 17 October 2015

Dundee, despite the extra man, have rarely ventured forward since their goal. They do though with nice skill from Greg Stewart who does a couple of step overs, but his low shot lacks the killer punch!

  20. CLOSE!published at 16:37 British Summer Time 17 October 2015

Ten-man Hamilton continue their search for an equaliser. Ziggy Gordon drills a low shot wide, then Dougie Imrie should put his laces through the ball but instead plays a weak shot into goalkeeper Scott Bain's arms!!
