Cardiff City make their second change of the evening and unsurprisingly it's an attacking one as Sammy Ameobi comes on for Craig Noone.

It's another Bristol City corner, this time Aden Flint heads wide under pressure from Sean Morrison.

Cardiff City's fans have been quieter in a second half dominated by a Bristol City side growing in confidence.

The highlight for the home crowd so far has been the half-time appearance of fans' favourite and former defender Kevin McNaughton.

The Scot was presented at half-time and has decided to watch the second half in the Canton Stand, much to the delirious approval of the supporters in that section of the ground.

Fabio is played in on the left but his cross his cleared behind from a corner by Luke Ayling. Bristol City's defence do their job and clear Peter Whittingham's corner to safety.

Cardiff City still without a shot on target as we pass the hour mark. The Robins have enjoyed 65% of the possession since the interval. That will be a massive concern for manager Russell Slade. 

Disappointingly for the travelling support the corner is cleared by the Bluebirds.

Both sides picking up the pace at the Cardiff City Stadium as the hour mark approaches. Who can break the deadlock? It's another Bristol City corner...

Luke Freeman picks the ball up 25 yards out and fires a rocket at David Marshall but the Cardiff City keeper palms it away at full stretch.

Moments later Joe Bryan almost connects with a cross from the right, and then an unmarked Marlon Pack heads a corner over at the near post. Should have done better. 

Meanwhile, that header from Kagisho Dikgacoi was his last involvement of the night as he is replaced by Joe Ralls. Looked like an injury for the Bluebird.

They force a corner and from the resulting set-piece Aaron Wilbraham manages to block Kagisho Dikgacoi's downward header.

The first chance of the half falls Cardiff City's way, with Joe Mason heading Lee Peltier's cross just wide of Frank Fielding's far post. Better from the hosts.

It's Bristol City who get the second half started with no changes at the break.
