Hull were relegated from the Premier League last season and decided to stick with boss Steve Bruce.

The Tigers have had a good start to life in the Championship, lying in fourth position, just one point off the automatic promotion spots.

A return to the top flight will be the priority, but does the League Cup matter?

"Once it gets to this stage everybody takes it seriously," said Brucey. "The big clubs traditionally have used it to see if their young players are good enough.

"Manchester City will be thinking 'Arsenal are out, Chelsea are out, Manchester United are out', so there's a path forward for them and we also have to think the same thing." #confidence

But the Foxes had nothing to cheer about in the last 16, being sent packing by the Tigers.

Hull are one of three Championship sides including Sheffield Wednesday and Middesbrough still remaining in the competition. All are in action this evening.
