I thought it was good game to be fair and they've been great this season. Slightly disappointed not to come away with a win but it’s a point for us. We all know what the league is like, it is tight and there are a lot of teams up there in with a shout.

We started the game very well and I think it is a good result to get at Burnley away. We're thinking just to win games so we're happy to keep this record going.

  5. FULL-TIMEpublished at 90+3 mins

    Burnley 1-1 Brighton

After such an explosive start you may have expected more from this game.

Bobby Zamora's tap in after 58 seconds gave Brighton the lead before Andre Gray's penalty levelled matters just three minutes later.

Scott Arfield went close a couple of times for the hosts in a second half of few real chances so a point a piece looking more than fair.

Burnley have certainly looked more likely to nick a winner here.

Ben Mee's long ball though is easily dealt with by Liam Rosenior.

  10. YELLOW CARDpublished at 88 mins

Superb hold up play by Andre Gray showing the other side of his attacking play rather than just finishing. As he rolls Lewis Dunk the Brighton defender swings a leg at him and is booked.

Burnley right-back Tendayi Darikwa, who has been marauding down the wing all afternoon, beats his man twice down the right wing but just as he is about to deliver the ball is stolen off him.

Scott Arfield goes even closer this time.

An excellent break by Andre Gray down the right and his low cross is unable to find Chris Long on the six yard box, but steaming in is Arfield who tries to pass it into the far corner but it is inches wide.

Good work by Brighton full-back Bruno to steal the ball from Scott Arfield high up the pitch.

However he is let down by his team mates as they lose the ball easily.

Some early winter sunshine is now out at Turf Moor.

We do love talking about the weather in this country of course, but it gives you an idea of the action currently on offer that I'm discussing that rather than the football.

Both teams are finding it hard to work anything in the final third right now.

Solly March has impressed in fits and starts this afternoon but he cuts isside around three players from his right wing on his stronger left foot, but as he tries it for a fourth time he slips and falls over. Much to the delight of the home faithful.
