  1. Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes on BBC Radio Scotlandpublished at 12:23 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2015

"The last three performances, there has been an improvement.

"The game against United was excellent. They are improving and it was fairly comfortable.

"Our main battle is with finding consistency and showing we are a good side."

  2. Jack out the boxpublished at 12:20 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2015

Aberdeen have been forced into a change, with captain Ryan Jack missing from midfield because of an ankle injury picked up during training. His place is taken by Niall McGinn and the Northern Ireland forward should be an able replacement. Jack will probably miss next week's game as well.

BBC Radio Scotland's trackside reporter Chick Young is saying it could be an emotional start to the game, with Hamilton taking to the field wearing the French international team's change strip in honour of those who lost their lives in last week's Paris attacks.

Accies manager Martin Canning says he fully supports the decision taken by the board but says their main focus is winning three points.

Hamilton striker Christian Nade, who is on the bench today, was apparently shaken up because his sister was caught up with events over in his homeland.

Hopefully, the same fans had time to also head for New Douglas Park, where Accies are looking to end a run of five games without a win. Hamilton midfielder Grant Gillespie was in the Sunday papers saying that the squad have been galvanised by a bit of team bonding - a day out go-karting. Will Accies to race to victory against the Dons?

Some Aberdeen fans have taken Vic Reeves' famous catchphrase to heart and took a detour to Hampden Park this morning to unfurl a banner in front of the Scottish FA headquarters calling a fresh inquiry into Rangers' use of Employee Benefit Trusts after HM Revenue and Customs won a court appeal that ruled that the Ibrox club's former parent company's use of employee benefit trusts from 2001-2010 broke tax rules. The controversy rumbles on, especially in the Twitter world.

  6. Dundee manager Paul Hartley on BBC Radio Scotlandpublished at 12:12 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2015

"When you come here, you've got to change your style of play. It is a new artificial surface installed during the summer and, because of the pitch, you have to be more direct."

Yesterday also witnessed a rare piece of unanimity between Celtic and Rangers, with the Ibrox club's manager, Mark Warburton, saying he agreed with counterpart Ronny Deila's call for Scotland's top clubs to field B teams in the lower divisions.

But the biggest talking point of the day was in League One, where Brechin City goalkeeper Graeme Smith had to make an 83-mile dash north to face Stenhousemuir after turning up at the wrong stadium.

That point for Dundee in Edinburgh yesterday meant that Hamilton slipped down to seventh place behind the Dens Park outfit, but Martin Canning's side will retake their position with at least a draw, while a victory would take them level on points with Ross County.

  9. Postpublished at 12:08 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2015

Hearts' failure to take three points yesterday means that third-placed Aberdeen can leap a point above Craig Neilson's side and to within five points of Ronny Deila's Premiership leaders should they win at New Douglas Park.

Second-top Hearts failed to capitalise on Celtic's slip up at home to Kilmarnock yesterday as the Edinburgh side were also held to a draw at Tynecastle by Dundee.
