Would you rather be Swansea City. A mid-table side of last season blessed with grace on times, talent, flair - but who suddenly find themselves embroiled in a slug fest, a brawl, a battle.

Or Sunderland. A club who seem to spend every waking minute of their existence in a relegation scrap. Hell, the Black Cats seem to love relegation scraps so much they actively perform appallingly for the opening half of a season.

So when it comes down to it, when both sides are in the doldrums. What wins? The Swansea ethos? Or the battle hardened?
