Rudd could have done Afobe some serious damage. Wow. Only a yellow card.

"You don't know what you're doing," sing the home crowd.

Eddie Howe ain't happy either. He wanted a red card.

Declan Rudd held his hand up to the referee as if to say "sorry boss, please don't send me off".

Benik Afobe is through, Declan Rudd comes rushing out and clips the striker outside the area.

    Red card?

No, Robert Madley pulls out the yellow. Norwich had two covering defenders, but could they have done anything?

    Bournemouth 1-0 Norwich

Norwich have improved in the last 10 minutes or so (relative to how dodgy they were earlier), with Vadis Odjidja seeing more of the ball. Very little in the way of an opening though.

Wes Hoolahan looking tired today, not showing the usual strength he has on the ball. Norwich need him to start playing.

You've seen Alex Tettey score a couple of tidy finishes this season.

To balance everything out, he's spooned a half-volley 16 miles over the bar.

Norwich cannot get little Wes Hoolahan into the game. And whenever they do, he's out-muscled. The Irishman gives the ball away for the second time in quick succession and Declan Rudd has to sprint off his line to stop Benik Afobe getting on to a ball over the top.

It's a dead centre free-kick, which Robbie Brady hits, but it dips too soon and Artur Borus gathers.

Now, a rare chance for Norwich. Simon Francis brings down Deumerci Mbokani on the edge of the area... free-kick...

Harry Arter fancies a go from 30 yards. It's a sweet hit with the outside of the left boot. But the swerve takes it past Declan Rudd's post.

Dieumerci Mbokani plays one round the corner to get Matt Jarvis away down the left. He cuts in and goes for goal, but finds the midriff of Artur Boruc.

Nice from Norwich, as Vadis Odjidja slides in a lovely cross aimed at Dieumerci Mbokani, but Steve Cook glances it away with the top of his head.

Bournemouth could finish this off in this half if this carries on.

The Cherries have loads of time as Simon Francis drops the ball into the box. Russell Martin nods it behind.

Junior Stanislas has to wait to take the corner as Robert Madley inspects whether the ball is touching the quadrant.

Is there any other context in life you would use the word quadrant?

Penalty? Norwich have got away with it I reckon.

Charlie Daniels ghosts pasts Russell Martin and into the area.

Martin decides the best course of action is to try and pull down Daniels' shorts.

Daniels makes a meal of it, but it should be a penalty. Ref says no.

Marc Pugh missed out in midweek, and is making up for it today. He's supposed to be playing on the left of midfield, but he's everywhere.

He tries to get the beating of Russell Martin again - like he did for the goal - but this time the Norwich skipper gets a foot in.

City have their backs to the wall once more. Benik Afobe continues to be a one-man holding up machine, rolls it to Dan Gosling, but he curls wide.

A little more oompf from Norwich for a fleeting moment. Seb Bassong strides forward, plays it into Wes Hoolahan, who clips a ball down the middle that's a little too high for Dieumerci Mbokani.
