"Two Crystal Palace players could have scored that. They will not get a better opportunity."

    Man City 0-0 Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace have made a quick start to this game and earn a corner in the first couple of minutes.

Midfielder Yohan Cabaye floats it in away from goal and City fail to fully clear it.

A ball is swung back in from the left and defender Damien Delaney - who stayed up after the corner - heads straight at Joe Hart from about five yards out.

    A great chance.

Former Chelsea & Norwich striker on Final Score

"I feel for Manuel Pellegrini - what if he wins the title this season and gets far in the Champions League? All this speculation is incredibly unfair on him. I expect Man City to win today."

City's Argentine centre-backs Martin Demichelis and Nicolas Otamendi both wearing gloves. It is a rather cold day in Manchester today - took me a while to warm the car up this morning.

    Today's ref is Jon Moss.

Ground control to Major Jon, commencing countdown, engines on. Kick off not far away now.

    Guy Mowbray
BBC Match of the Day commentator at Etihad Stadium

"Something strange happened on Wednesday - Manchester City failed to score at home for the first time in almost a year.

"Last time it happened they did it twice in a row, but that's unlikely to be the case again versus a Palace side with a few problems to solve.

"The biggest is scoring themselves, having gone four games without a goal or (obviously!) a win. It's no coincidence that the barren run has come whilst Yannick Bolasie's unpredictable, creative spark has been missing."

Both sets of players are warming up at the moment. Is there a concern for Manchester City?

Defender Martin Demichelis lays a pass off and seems to tweak his knee. He's clutching it for a while with a grimace on his face, but able to continue. One to keep an eye on.

At the other side of the pitch, former Crystal Palace winger John Salako - now coach - is warming up his players. He looks exactly the same as he did when I watched him 20 years ago.

Palace may be struggling to find the back of the net but City had problems of their own against Everton last time out, managing only a goalless draw at the Etihad.

There's a star man waiting in the side though, namely Sergio Aguero.

However, the Argentine has just one goal in his past five Premier League games so Manuel Pellegrini will be hoping his striker is firing this afternoon.

Goals galore or bore scoreless draw, this one could go either way.

Manchester City give a start to young striker Kelechi Iheanacho with Sergio Aguero playing too, while Pablo Zabaleta makes his 200th league appearance for the club at right-back. Fabian Delph and Fernando patrol the middle.

Connor Wickham comes in up front for Crystal Palace in place of the injured Bakary Sako, but they are still missing the wizardry of Yannick Bolasie.

No wins and no goals in their past four league games, Crystal Palace's bright start has suddenly hit a slump.

Don't worry though, Palace fans, it gets easier this afternoon with a trip up north to face Manchester City.

    Hmm.
