"Liverpool look the more confident side in this second half but they are no certainties to win this game. A lot can happen in five minutes."

    Norwich 3-4 Liverpool

Alex Neil is urging his Norwich players on, but there's an almost resigned look about him now. A famous win was in his fingers, but even a point looks unlikely now with three minutes left.

Tell me about it. I'd almost forgotten how to write about anything else.

  4. Tactical genius?published at 84 mins

    Norwich 3-4 Liverpool

A good tactical change by Jurgen Klopp. He moved James Milner over to the left to help out Alberto Moreno and since then, Liverpool have scored twice and Norwich haven't had a sniff down that side of the pitch.

Meanwhile, Roberto Firmino fancies a hattrick as he charges forward, but Norwich halt his run.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 81 mins

    Norwich 3-4 Liverpool

A final change for Norwich as Steven Naismith is replaced by Cameron Jerome.

Nine minutes for the striker to make an impression. Can Norwich rescue something from this?

  7. Liverpool a 'different team'published at 14:23 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2016

    Norwich 3-4 Liverpool

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 live

"It is a different team Liverpool, from the team that played the first half and some of the second. They looked half a sleep. Since 3-1 down they are passing better look sharper and pressing higher up the field."

    Norwich 3-4 Liverpool

Such a shame Steven Naismith's debut has been overshadowed by the turnaround because he has been excellent in this game.

Norwich look stunned, they are resorting to long balls now and Liverpool are coping with them.

Still, only a fool would say this game is over.

Peter Eastwood: Norwich have gone full self destruct here.

Fred Kamande: What a game this is at Carrow road! You blink and you miss a goal. This has to be the most unpredictable EPL season ever!

Dave Hammond: Good job Alex Neil has no hair already. Are there any defenders playing in this game?

    Norwich 3-4 Liverpool

    Pat Nevin

"Well done Milner. He had so much time, he waited for keeper to show him too much. It was an awful back pass. The sadness is they had warning of that in the first half, the number one golden rule is you look before you play it."

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 76 mins

Christian Benteke is on for Liverpool, replacing Jordan Henderson.

What do Liverpool do now? Go for more and kill off the game or shut up shop?

  13. Shocking defendingpublished at 14:18 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2016

    Norwich 3-4 Liverpool

Speaking of defenders of average ability...

Russell Martin has a shocker, selling a backpass well, well short and James Milner cannot believe his luck as he races through. He has all the time in the world to pick his spot and does so superbly.

    What a turnaround.

    Norwich 3-3 Liverpool

Football needs more defenders of average ability playing, it has made for one heck of an entertaining game today and I reckon there's more goals in this.

Christian Benteke has got the nod. He is stripped and ready to come on.

Charlie Smith: For LFC this season is a write off but on the bright side, at least our shambolically unbalanced squad guarantees excitement.

Shamim Miah: Roberto Firmino is becoming a deadly finisher for Liverpool. Couple more good signings and selling Benteke would help.

"Oddly enough Liverpool didn’t have to do too much to get back level. It wasn’t a fight and a battle. Norwich are just too open, far too open in fact."

  18. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 69 mins

    Norwich 3-3 Liverpool

Two quick goals for Liverpool has prompted Norwich boss Alex Neil to make a change. Goalscorer Wes Hoolahan is replaced by Matt Jarvis, while Nathan Redmond makes way for Martin Olsson. The change should see Robbie Brady push further up the pitch from left back.

David P H Thomas: As bad as Liverpool have been today that was a quality team goal.

Nick Clohessy: When I got in the shower it was 2-1 to Norwich. I get out and it's 3-3. What the hell is going on at Carrow Road?
