    Dieumerci Mbokani

    Cheeky, cheeky!

Dieumerci Mbokani brings Norwich level with one of the great backheel goals, although Liverpool shouldn't have allowed it to have happened.

It all came from the Reds failing to defend a corner properly and when the ball is headed back into the area, Mbokani cleverly backheels the ball into the net.

Khalid: False dawn or Firmino finally coming good? Hopefully the latter.

Paul Charles: I'm loving this Premier League season because I start watching each game genuinely ignorant of the likely outcome.

David Simpson: Milner. Come on. No pace.

"There is the tiniest suspicion of offside for the goal but the assistant referee has absolutely nailed it, it was not offside, he was in line with the last defender.

"The goalkeeper gets his foot to it and it seems to take an eternity to go in. It was their second real attack and it is 1-0 Liverpool."

Much better from Robbie Brady as the Norwich man denies James Milner what surely would have been Liverpool's second.

Milner is put through by Roberto Firmino's fine ball but Brady gets across and sticks a crucial boot in.

    Liverpool have burst into life.

    Roberto Firmino

And exploit Norwich's weakness in defence Liverpool do!

Roberto Firmino bags the opener. He is played onside by Robbie Brady as James Milner feeds a pass to the Brazilian, who clips a shot towards the far corner and the ball bobbles in off the post.

Declan Rudd got a foot to it, but not enough to deny Firmino.

There's some early signs that Liverpool can cause this Norwich defence some bother. After Ivo Pinto struggled with Jordon Ibe's pace, Sebastien Bassong almost buckles under pressure from Roberto Firmino as the Norwich defender struggles with a difficult bounce of the ball.

"Jordan Ibe has got the ball once in the final third to go at Ivo Pinto and he has left him for dead. One and one he has torn Pinto to shreds. Ibe will want to get the ball as much as he can on the left hand side."

"I have no memory of the Norwich keeper Declan Rudd touching the ball, at least with his hands.

"It is an enjoyable open game without any massive chances so far. Nathan Redmond looks up for it.

"For Liverpool Nathaniel Clyne looks dangerous on the right-hand side. I expect chances to start forming quite soon."

John Odande: Liverpool should beat Norwich and hope that Stoke & Crystal Palace lose today for the club to climb to 7th. I am optimistic.

Dan Fookes: Norwich v Liverpool used to be a lot more fun when I had Suarez in my fantasy team.

Mark O'Toole: We're so unpredictable now a days, never know what Liverpool side will turn up!

Ivo Pinto has the pace of Jordon Ibe to deal with on his Premier League debut and he is given a bit of a taster of what the forward can do.

Ibe zooms past the full-back, but his low cross is behind James Milner. Could be a testing afternoon for Pinto.
