  1. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:18

    Man Utd 0-0 Southampton

Another defensive injury for Manchester United, with Matteo Darmian sustaining an injury when making a brave headed clearance and the Italian is replaced by Paddy McNair.

  2. Odion Ighalo back on formpublished at 16:18 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2016

Odion Ighalo's opener for Watford was the third quickest second-half goal scored in the Premier League so far this season. It came after 44 seconds.

Ighalo has now scored seven goals in his last seven league appearances at Vicarage Road.

  3. CLOSE!published at 16:17

    Leicester 1-0 Stoke

And now it's Stoke's turn to go close. Joselu up like the first salmon of the season, nobody near him, great connection with the header but straight at Kasper Schmeichel. BIG CHANCE.

  4. Postpublished at 16:17

    West Brom 0-0 Aston Villa

It's still scrappy at The Hawthorns, where we've yet to see a shot on target in the second half. In fact, West Brom didn't manage any in the first half either.

To be fair, they are marginally the better team after the break.

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:15

    Sunderland 1-1 Bournemouth

Sunderland with the best chance of the second half but Billy Jones cannot flick a header past Artur Boruc from no more than six yards out. A yard either side etc...

  6. Cathcart makes it twopublished at 16:14

    Watford 2-0 Newcastle

More rubbish defending from Newcastle as they can't deal with a corner, Odion Ighalo is in there making a nuisance of himself and it runs to Craig Cathcart, who batters home with his left peg.

Random Craig Cathcart trivia: On a long-running football manager game I've got saved, he manages Bayern Munich. Strange but true...

    Watford 1-0 Newcastle

Remember when Saturday night TV was great? Noel's House Party, Blind Date, Gladiators?

Well I reckon Odion Ighalo would have been brilliant at the gauntlet on Gladiators. He has just bulldozed his way through four Newcastle defenders and emerged with the ball. They can't stop him.

  9. Postpublished at 16:12 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2016

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Tottenham

Another chance for Tottenham. Kieran Trippier floats a cross to the back post and it is met by a diving header from Harry Kane but Palace goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey is well positioned to block the effort.

  10. Postpublished at 16:12

    Man Utd 0-0 Southampton

Finally some spark from Manchester United as Wayne Rooney and Juan Mata play a neat one-two in the box but Virgil van Dijk sticks out a big foot and somehow diverts the ball away from danger. That's given the home fans some optimism.

  11. Wes Morgan 'outstanding'published at 16:10 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2016

    Leicester 1-0 Stoke

    Garth Crooks
Former Spurs striker on Final Score

"One of the players who has been outstanding for me is Wes Morgan. I don’t think he gets the credit he deserves. Captain, hardly misses a game, solid, old fashioned centre-half and he gets the job done. If he continues like that I wouldn’t be surprised if he is in the PFA team of the season."

    Sunderland 1-1 Bournemouth

It threatens to be a familiar story for Bournemouth fans. Their side were well on top at the Stadium of Light, could and should have been further ahead, but now they are back level. I saw them throw away points against West Ham recently - same again?

  14. Postpublished at 16:08 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2016

    West Brom 0-0 Aston Villa

Albion straight on the front foot. Their ears are probably still stinging from Tony Pulis' half-time rollicking.

And they have a chance when Villa midfielder Idrissa Gana clatters into the back of Salomon Rondon near the left-hand byline.

Craig Gardner fizzes in the free-kick, but Craig Dawson cannot keep his header down. The search for an Albion effort on target continues...

  15. CLOSE!published at 16:07

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Tottenham

That would have been goal of the month if it had gone in. Cristian Eriksen, on the angle, curls a shot just over the bar from 30 yards out. Serious effort that.

  19. Ighalo catches Newcastle coldpublished at 16:02

    Watford 1-0 Newcastle

The very definition of catching a side 'still in the dressing room' as Watford score within seconds of the restart! Troy Deeney chips a ball over the top, Odion Ighalo is onside and clean through and he rounds Rob Elliot to score.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:03

Cheers around Old Trafford - the loudest of the afternoon - as Juan Mata replaces Marouane Fellaini.
