A former Reading loanee has been offering his support to the caretaker boss...
Derby v Brighton (15:00 GMT)
There seems to be no stopping Brighton at the moment. They remain unbeaten in the Championship this season and they're two points clear at the top of the table.
"You can't get excited about where you are," manager Chris Hughton told BBC South East Today.
"There are always difficulties and decisions you have to make. You can get excited by the level of performance but it is always back down to business."
Today they face arguably their toughest test of the campaign so far, away at third-placed Derby.
QPR v Burnley (15:00 GMT)
After posing for photographs by the QPR manager's dugout in a rather fetching scarf earlier this week, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink will return there later today for his first match as Rangers boss against Burnley.

This is the first of 10 fixtures taking place in the Championship today.
The games below all kick off at 15:00 BST.
MK Dons 0-1 Ipswich
Ipswich lead thanks to a diving header from Brett Pitman finishing off a well-worked move, but MK Dons have been the side with 60% possession in the match.
The hosts have failed to seriously test Town keeper Dean Gerken though.

Late on in the half, Ipswich forward Freddie Sears plays the ball into the area, but Darren Potter comes back from midfield to head the ball away from the danger zone and help out his centre-backs, who have struggled a little today.
There seems to be a flat atmosphere in Stadium:MK as the home side struggle to get into the match.
The sides have met before in the League Cup, however. The Dons won a first-round tie on penalties in August 2007.
Quote MessageMK Dons have picked up possession, delivered it well to the right side, travelled to within 30 yards of the goal, and then Baker's overhit the cross. That's when they struggle - when they get within sight of the Ipswich goal.
Mick Mills, Former Ipswich captain on BBC Radio Suffolk
Carl Baker pretty much sums up the first half for MK Dons as he breaks down the right but his ball into the area evades everyone.
The midfielder looks absolutely livid with himself...
Ipswich give away a cheap corner, but the Dons fail to capitalise, with centre-back Kyle McFadzean heading over from Dean Bowditch's deep ball into the area.
Dean Bowditch is seemingly playing in a free role for MK Dons today, and he pops up in the middle of the park with some space, but shoots well over.
Nicky Maynard is furious he didn't get the pass from his team-mate there - he could have been through on goal.
Norwich City v Everton (12:45 GMT)
We're concentrating on the Championship here. If the Premier League is more your thing, then why not head over to our live text commentary of Norwich City v Everton?
In-form striker Romelu Lukaku has just put the visitors 1-0 up.
Ross Barkley and John Stones - who were both engrossed by the match programme earlier on - both started for the Toffees, as does Leighton Baines after a long injury lay-off.
Dean Bowditch has the chance to create something for MK Dons, but his free-kick into the area is poor and Ipswich clear their lines easily.
Ipswich look like causing serious problems every time they go forward and crosses from Daryl Murphy and Ainsley Maitland-Niles both cause trouble for MK Dons' defence, but they manage to clear, albeit not with much authority.
League Two: Morecambe P-P Exeter
We'll keep you updated of any other games that fall foul of the weather today.
It's way too easy for Ipswich to sneak a chance, as Daryl Murphy runs off the shoulder of the two centre-back to get in behind from a long ball, but cannot find the target with a difficult chance.
Warning signs apparent for the hosts.
MK Dons have woken up now, with Carl Baker's difficult ball into the area forcing Dean Gerken to tip over his bar.
From the corner Samir Carruthers smashes the ball towards goal but it deflects out for another corner, which comes to nothing.
Quote MessageThe fans are thinking the same that we're thinking - the Dons don't look like they're going to score. You can't watch this game as a Dons supporter and think 'we're going to score any minute'.
Luke Ashmead, BBC Three Counties Radio
Ipswich goalkeeper Dean Gerken hasn't had much to do so far, so Josh Murphy makes sure he's still alert with a strike from outside the area that the Town keeper easily grasps.
