And that's half-time at Ewood Park. Lots to admire from that Blackburn performance, just the goal missing from a decent 45 minutes.

Forest's Matthew Mills tries an overhead kick from 12 yards or so but he gets his timing wrong and it flies over the crossbar. Sarcastic cheers from the home fans. 

Five minutes to go until half-time, can either side find an opener here at Ewood Park?

Oh that's so close for Blackburn as Ben Marshall's superb half-volley from the edge of the area takes a slight deflection and cannons off the underside of the crossbar and away to safety. A lick of paint away from an opener here at Ewood Park. 

Some signs that Forest might be coming back into this game as they enjoy a decent spell of possession in Blackburn's half. They just can't carve a chance out though.

Forest have a rare foray into the Rovers box but they just can't get a clear sight of Jason Steele's goal and several half chances come to nothing. Better from the visitors though.

Craig Conway is really enjoying himself on the right-hand side and he sends in another whipped low cross that Jordan Rhodes heads the wrong side of the front post from six yards. 

Successive corners for Blackburn come to nothing but the pressure continues to build on Forest. 

Craig Conway with a robust tackle on Daniel Pinillos which the crowd enjoyed greatly, meanwhile Jordan Rhodes is close to getting on the end of a fine Marcus Olsson cross. 

Dexter Blackstock is terribly isolated up front for Forest and the delivery into him is non-existent. The visitors need to do something about this because it's just not happening for them.

Michael Mancienne is the first man to be booked for a crude shirt pull on Fode Koita. From the resulting free-kick Shane Duffy is on the end of the delivery but his powerful downward header was straight at De Vries. Blackburn getting closer and closer here.

Adam Henley looks like he's going to soldier on as Blackburn continue to threaten down the right through Craig Conway.

Blackburn are really pressing here and after a series of crosses Fode Koita finally gets his head on the end of one but it's easily dealt with. Meanwhile, Adam Henley is down injured and it looks a painful one. 

Blackburn have a free-kick on the right and a superb, whipped delivery is headed just over the bar by Hope Akpan from eight yards or so.

Blackburn, unbeaten in seven, are unsurprisingly the more adventurous of the two sides in the opening 10 minutes or so. Forest have three wins from five but are struggling to get out of their own half here.
