"Jonjo Shelvey has had plenty of shots - that last one was closer than the previous effort but still a way off.

"But he works the opening really well for himself and he's getting involved."

    Oxford 0-0 Swansea

Jonjo Shelvey may be playing for a move this month and he is on 'shoot-on-sight' mode today.

That's the third time already he's had a bang from 25 yards, well off target this time though. Endangering the fans behind the goal.

A free-flowing, attacking start to the game from both sides as now Oxford craft a decent opening, with Kemar Roofe heading over the top.

It's a cracking atmosphere for this time on a Sunday.

"Was Jefferson Montero offside? That's the big question there but it's a terrific ball to him.

"He makes good contact but he really should be hitting the target - it's the best opportunity we've had so far."

"Swansea's front three should have too much for Oxford, but it is about getting the ball to them."

"Alan Curtis needs a win here, there are no two ways about it.

"Performances have been better in the last five games but they've only beaten West Brom. They really need to start winning soon, starting here."

  7. CLOSE!published at 5 mins

    Oxford 0-0 Swansea

Oxford have already shown that they are not you stereotypical League Two side. No hit and hope balls forwards, it's all neat and tidy across midfield.

But Swansea then have the first chance of the game, a great chance too! Marvin Emnes breaks the offside trap and crosses low, it runs on for Jefferson Montero who has a composure breakdown, slashing it high and wide!

"This is what the FA Cup is about and everyone is expecting an upset.

"Swansea have made 10 changes, and like Liverpool did against Exeter, they are taking a chance. I'm looking forward to this and it should be a great match."

Excellent noise around the place in a bright opening from both sides. Swansea winger Jefferson Montero is almost in behind the Oxford defence, before Liam Sercombe wastes a good attack for Oxford.

Here come the teams at a windy Kassam Stadium, which looks pretty full to me. Is that the smell of an upset in the air? Or will Swansea impose the iron fist of the Premier League on the lower league hopefuls?
