The first 25 minutes Wales had total dominance, defended resolutely and were a constant threat with Gareth Bale's pace.

Sam Vokes has been outstanding. He's worked hard, won free kicks and headers.

If we could have got 3-0 that would have been the perfect half, we dropped slightly at the end of the half and let them onto us.

Russia have got to change it because this is madness - they are just leaving it open for us.

If they don't change it we will score again.

John Parsons: Excellent performance from Wales, definitely doing us proud - keep it going second half.

It's a very poor Russia side.

I played against them in 2003 - they were big, strong, physical, aggressive. But tonight there is no energy in the side whatsoever.

Once again, Gareth Bale picking the ball and up so much yardage to run in to - this Russia back four doesn't know what's hit them.

That is what we want to see from Bale.

Every time he gets on the ball the two Russian centre-backs are having a nightmare.

To paraphrase a chant about a third-tier player, Wales are on fire and Russia's defence are terrified. Gareth Bale runs at two defenders, absolutely skinning them and his effort is saved by Igor Akinfeev. This is on the brink of being football carnage.

Wales fans may well be questioning if what they are watching is reality.

Their team at a major international tournament, playing brilliantly, 2-0 up and set to reach the knockout stages. And Neil Taylor has scored.

This is surreal, and no Welsh fan wants to wake up from this dream-like state.

Eight shots on target now for Wales, as Gareth Bale cuts in from the right but his effort is straight at keeper Igor Akinfeev, who has looked very unconvincing tonight.
