I am hopeful of a twist to come, Republic of Ireland have to go for it and that will cause them problems defensively but you have to get bodies around Shane Long and Aiden McGeady.

They look a bit jaded but this is a better performance than the Belgium game.

Belgium are eight minutes away from joining Italy in the last 16.

Italy, the Republic of Ireland and Sweden are 10 minutes away from being eliminated from Euro 2016.

Unless, of course, we are treated to some last-minute drama.

It is a brilliant run from Lorenzo Insigne, another substitution having a real impact on a game at the Euros.

It would have been a great goal, he opened his body up and tried to bend it in. Really unlucky, a great effort.

That was Italy's best spell, they have been really poor in this game.

Cometh the hour, cometh Zlatan? 

This game needs a moment of magic from the big man and he has the chance to produce it with a free-kick, some 30 yards from goal. He shoots, but Thibaut Courtois saves.

Since 1980, Italy have never failed to have a shot on target in a Euro finals match. They have had two shots so far this match, neither of which have been on target.

Big save by Andreas Isaksson!

I'd almost forgotten Romelu Lukaku was on the pitch but he provides a timely reminder as he powers after a long ball over the top. He has the pace to beat a Sweden defender, but not the accuracy to beat Isaksson, who makes himself big to block the striker's shot.

Lukaku gets away again soon after and puts the ball in the net, but he is offside.
