"Leicester have defended as a unit, they have blocked City and kept Aguero quiet. Manchester City have to go and shuffle things round a bit and play quicker if they want to get back in this game."

"Leicester deserve the lead, it was a soft goal to give away.

"Since then, they could have had a few chances on the break, but need to use the ball better. Manchester City have had one shot on target from Sergio Aguero but they can not get behind this Leicester defence."

Every Leicester player apart from Jamie Vardy is behind the ball as Manchester City advance to the edge of the area. Again, the Foxes hold out.

There will be three minutes of added time at the Etihad Stadium.

Just half-chances for Manchester City so far, and here is another one: Sergio Aguero makes space for a cross inside the box with a lovely turn. It is a decent delivery too but, because he played it, there is nobody in the middle to turn the ball home.

It is still absolutely tipping it down at the Etihad Stadium. We have just had a bit of a break while Fernandinho had treatment - he went down after a clash of heads with N'Golo Kante, but looks okay to continue.

Another penalty appeal for Manchester City. Marc Albrighton tangles with Fernandinho by the left-hand bye-line, although there was hardly any contact. Referee Anthony Taylor signals for a free-kick.

That Sergio Aguero shot from distance remains Manchester City's only effort on target so far. Five minutes to go until the break, and Leicester still look comfortable.

  10. YELLOW CARDpublished at 37 mins

    Man City 0-1 Leicester

N'Golo Kante and Danny Drinkwater are the shield in front of Leicester's defence. Not much is getting through.

When it does, Wes Morgan is out to tidy up, but he fouls Sergio Aguero and  is shown the yellow card, with referee Anthony Taylor pointing out it is for the number of fouls he has committed, rather than that specific one.

Aleksandar Kolarov looks up and balloons a shot high over Kasper Schmeichel's bar, from about 25 yards out. An effort that aptly sums up Manchester City's attacking threat so far.

You can see why Leicester have kept five clean sheets in their last six matches - they do not just defend in numbers, they look supremely organised in midfield and at the back.

Manchester City have only failed to score in one home game this season but they are going to have to up their game to find a way through here - Sergio Aguero just fizzed in a shot from distance but it was easily collected by Kasper Schmeichel.

30 minutes gone and the Foxes still lead. Manchester City are still having the lion's share of possession, at 70%, but Leicester won't mind because they look so dangerous on the break.

Better from Manchester City. A bit. And a half-chance too... Raheem Sterling's looping cross evades Robert Huth but Sergio Aguero anticipated the clearance and could not react in front of goal.

"Manchester City will not change the game plan. They will keep passing and probing.

"It is all Man City but they always have Jamie Vardy as that outball."

The Leicester penalty area is a very crowded place when Manchester City come forward. David Silva just tried to pick out a man when he found some space on the right, but there was no way through.
