Alex, Cardiff: Product of the Man United youth academy sets up another product of the Man United youth academy, for the second week in a row. Chelsea, City, Arsenal - take note.

Narek, London: At this rate Luke Shaw may not have a position to get back to. Solid so far from CBJ!

Pedro won't do much for Francis [17:34] with shooting like that as the former Barca man rattles one well wide.

Goalscorer Jesse Lingard is then replaced by Memphis Depay.

"Eden Hazard is trying to make things happen but the ball keeps bouncing off him, it's just not quite coming together for him at the moment. It's been like that so often when I've seen him this season."

Manchester United thoroughly deserve their lead and a key component of their attacking display has been the freedom their full-backs have been given to get forward.

As the graphic on the left above shows, Bransilav Ivanovic (2) and Cesar Azpilicueta (28) have rarely ventured far beyond the half-way line.

In contrast, the graphic on the right shows Cameron Borthwick-Jackson (43) and Matteo Darmian (36) have pushed forward in support of Man Utd's attacks as often as possible, and it was no surprise that Borthwick-Jackson played a part in Man Utd's opener.

Well that's more like it! Cesc Fabregas takes a gem of a first touch inside the area to completely sell his marker, he then cracks in a shot from the angle which is flying into the roof of the net until David de Gea again denies him with one of those paw-like hands. Hands like dinner plates.

"Chelsea have made positive substitutions which should open the game up now. Manchester Untied deserve to be ahead but I think there will be more goals in this..."
