Norwich 0-1 Chelsea
Cameron Jerome finds space and Wes Hoolahan begs for a pass, it comes but has too much beef on it and Chelsea recover. There is no midfield in this game so far, end to end with little resistance anywhere between both defences.
Norwich 0-1 Chelsea
What a start, it seems it took just 39 seconds for the goal to arrive and that is the fastest goal in the Premier League this season.
Norwich respond reasonably, a ball whipped dangerously into the box but it's nearly a second goal at the other end, Eden Hazard's pull back evades everyone with bodies on the floor in the box.
Norwich 0-1 Chelsea
Pardon me while I blink a few times as this has caught me on the hop. This is exactly what you do not need when battling the drop, a goal inside a minute.
Early estimations are 41 seconds to be precise. The Chelsea left-back Kenedy finds himself near the 18-yard box, he looks to pass, he wants to pass, but with nothing on he pulls the ball onto his left foot and rockets it into the bottom corner.
He had too much time and boy did he use it well. Across John Ruddy who got nowhere near it.
Norwich 0-0 Chelsea
A brief handshake between the two managers, it's game on.

"Everyone in the ground are you ready, three, two, one..."
The Norwich stadium announcer has been on some energy drinks. He's game.

And we have teams on the turf, Norwich in their traditional green and yellow, Chelsea in white. Kasabian plays over the PA system, there's a smoke machine and now handshakes. The floodlights beam brightly into the night sky, how can anyone not love midweek league football?

The pitch is cleared (the opera singers were not to blame) and a scan of the stands highlights a lot of home fans sporting a nervous look.
There is a lot of winter headwear on show too. Norwich surely have to stop the rot here.
Norwich v Chelsea (19:45 GMT)
It is of course St David's Day and upon seeing Norwich tweet images of the likes of Craig Bellamy and Iwan Roberts as former Wales players, I was disgusted they'd left Jeremy Goss off the list.
Some internet search work has however shown me Gossy was born in Cyprus. I stand down.
Happy St David's Day folks.

Your thoughts on Chelsea's renaissance, Norwich, the drop and what the future holds for these teams is welcomed. Antonio Conte to Stamford Bridge?

We have opera singers on the pitch at Norwich.
Local singer Hayley Moss has been joined by a gent sporting a yellow and green scarf on the hallowed turf. My opera knowledge is not good enough to tell you the song they deliver quite beautifully.
Talk about value for money in football. There's even a warm applause. If the Canaries are half as good they'll not go too far wrong.

Remember those days pre-Christmas where not even Santa Clause could deliver Chelsea a win?
On Saturday a win at Southampton sealed a league first for the club this season - back-to-back wins.
Remarkable. It took the Premier League champions until March to win two on the bounce.
Another three points tonight will move them higher in the table than at any point since the opening weekend of the season.

Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink: "Two players who are not used to playing many games are starting tonight, Traore and Kenedy. They are knocking on the door and are doing well in training. They come in late in games and do well so they deserve to start. This is very trcky, this is a big game for Norwich. In Champions League games, concentration is high and I hope we do not need a wake up call for this game."

Norwich's players are going through their paces. They are in a circle on the Carrow Road turf, loosening the groins, some fast kicks, touch the toes, running backwards. It looks organised and lively - as far from a Sunday league warm up as you can imagine.
Norwich v Chelsea (19:45 GMT)
Norwich manager Alex Neil tells reporters Steven Naismith is not fit to participate as they make just one change, in comes Wes Hoolahan to replace the Scot.
Naismith has six goals in seven Premier League games against Chelsea, so his side could miss the good fortune this fixture tends to offer him.
Chelsea make two changes, in come Kenedy and Bertrand Traore, who makes his first Premier League start. Alexandre Pato is on the bench for the first time.
Norwich v Chelsea (19:45 GMT)
I can see Alexandre Pato warming up in a blue tracksuit. He ate his crusts as a kid, strong curls on show. With that, we will go to team news next...
Norwich v Chelsea (19:45 GMT)
Momentum. Chelsea have it. Well, some at least.
Not since 14 December - under Jose Mourinho - have the Blues lost in the league.
Since taking charge, Guus Hiddink has yet to taste defeat in the league, winning four times and drawing six. Midas touch.
Norwich v Chelsea (19:45 GMT)
Momentum. Norwich are running into it. That sliding feeling where everything is going wrong, is engulfing them.
Their future looks bleak away from the joyous playing fields of the Premier League. Can they flick the switch, jump on the right wave and somehow crawl their way away from danger?
