Elsewhere in the Championship today, Middlesbrough will look to extend their lead at the top of the table as they host Nottingham Forest.

Second-placed Hull go to Fulham, while fifth-placed Brighton are at home to Huddersfield.

At the bottom, three points are surely a must for Bolton against MK Dons, one of the sides above them in the battle to avoid relegation.

The draw at Loftus Road does little for either side's play-off aspirations. Wolves remain 10th and are seven points from a top-six spot, while QPR are three points further back.

QPR debutant Conor Washington speaking to Sky Sports: "It was a good atmosphere to come into. We're disappointed with the result, especially after our first-half performance. But Wolves have been on a good run so it's a good point."

Wolves winger and man of the match Rajiv van La Parra: "I had a good game, we didn't win, but we can be happy with a point."

Almost an instant impact for the two QPR substitutes. Conor Washington gets to the byline on the left touchline and pulls the ball back to Tjaronn Chery, who smacks the post from eight yards.

Should have buried it. Is that QPR's chance missed?

The breaks in play for Dave Edwards' injury and the two recent substitutions seem to have killed Wolves' momentum a little bit. Dominic Iorfa is forced into conceding a QPR corner.

Leroy Fer meets it at the far post, and it appears to take a flick of Danny Batth behind for another corner, but the officials decide otherwise.

QPR's new number nine Conor Washington, signed from Peterborough for a reported £2.5m earlier this week, is on for his Rangers debut. He's got seven minutes plus stoppage time to show his new fans what he can do.

Junior Hoilett is the man to be replaced.

Dave Edwards hasn't run off that injury and is off for Wolves, to be replaced by George Saville, who has just returned to Molineux after a loan spell at League One side Millwall.

Henry, who was born in Wolverhampton, won the Championship title in 2009 and featured prominently for Wolves in three consecutive seasons in the Premier League.

The QPR midfielder is replaced by Tjaronn Chery - the first substitution of the match.

With Wolves seven points off the play-offs as things stand, and QPR a further three points back, it's one of those situations where you think a draw isn't good enough for either side.

I'm hoping that statement will spark a fantastic, end-to-end final 20 minutes at Loftus Road...

QPR boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has new signing Conor Washington, winger Tjaronn Chery and the experienced Jamie Mackie to call upon.

As for Wolves, Kenny Jackett has 17-year-old Bright Enobakhare as his only striking option on the bench, while Nathan Byrne could provide a fresh option out wide.

As well as an FA Cup defeat at Nottingham Forest, QPR had drawn five and lost two of their seven league games under Hasselbaink before finally ending their wait for a victory at Rotherham seven days ago.

Can his side achieve back-to-back wins today?

An escape for QPR as Dave Edwards' header back across goal is just about cleared by the hosts.
