Eamon McGurk: Sorry but Flamini isn't good enough to play midfield in a team serious about a title shot!

Abdul Said: For 7 minutes Southampton have not touched the ball other than defending and Arsenal can't score.

Kiriama16: They say Giroud ain't a title winning striker. Is that the case Olivier?..

It's turning into a decent night for City, who will know that both Arsenal and Leicester are drawing. However, Sunderland are full of gusto in this second half and occasionally look threatening. I don't think one will be enough for Pellers and Co tonight.

Steven Naismith has looked good for Norwich this evening and he flicks a header just wide after the perfect delivery from Matt Jarvis. Tottenham have taken their foot off the pedal.

"As straightforward and entertaining as any first 45 minutes has been for a very long time at Old Trafford. Goals. Entertainment. Fluent play. Do not adjust your sets."

    West Ham 0-0 Aston Villa

West Ham are thundering on the door like an irate window cleaner chasing his payment. Aston Villa can't mute the TV and hide either. James Collins heads across goal and Micah Richards does brilliantly to clear it, and from the corner Mark Noble wraps in a volley from 20 yards which needs a flying save from Mark Bunn. Great hit!

    Arsenal 0-0 Southampton

Mesut Ozil has made some good runs and taken up some decent positions, but his final ball is lacking. This time his cross beats everyone in the box and runs to safety. Arsene Wenger is clearly frustrated.

Shinji Okazaki drifts a shot on to the roof of the net after a strong surge down the right, it remains a very exciting game at the King Power.

Another big save from Fraser Forster! Arsenal pour forward and Olivier Giroud is found by Aaron Ramsey. The French striker's curling shot from just inside the box is destined for the top corner until Forster's outstretched hand tips the effort away.
