    Leicester 2-2 West Brom

Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri, speaking to BBC MOTD: “I am very pleased with our performance. They played so well, there was no panic after the first goal. We played much better than against Norwich. I am satisfied with the performance. Just sometimes you can do everything but the ball doesn’t want to go in.

“I want to create a lot of chances and sooner or later we score. Tonight wasn’t the right moment but we are alive and we fight to the end. Everybody is ready to fight, to play well, to create chances. Only the victory was missing.

“Nothing negative. We tried to do everything and well done to my players. I love this, we never never give up. We always try the best in every situation. Every team plays football and we have to find the solution and try to win. It is important not to lose the match too as they could have counter attacked.”

    Bournemouth 2-0 Southampton

It has been a bad night for Southampton. Not only did they lose at Bournemouth tonight but boss Ronald Koeman has told BBC Radio Solent that Charlie Austin has a hamstring injury and will be out for "several weeks".

    Sunderland 2-2 Crystal Palace

Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce on BBC Radio 5 live: “[Borini's goal was] world class, absolutely out of the top drawer of goals you can score. It was in the back of the net before the goalkeeper could begin to move.

"Pace, power, accuracy. That should have been the winner though. Our frailties have come to light again and it’s saved us from defeat, not won us the game."

Meanwhile, at the top, leaders Leicester go three points clear, but Tottenham (who have a better goal difference) can replace them with a win at West Ham tomorrow. If they do so, it will be the first time they have occupied top spot this season.

As you'll be able to see on the table on the right side of this page (if you are on a desktop), Newcastle, Norwich and Sunderland are all on 24 points (although the former - in 19th place - now have two games in hand). Swansea are three points better off, while Bournemouth and Palace are still well in the mix. In what is financially the worst year to get relegated, you sense it is going to go down to the wire.

For all the talk of 'end to end' football & an 'entertaining' game surely Foxes fans must see this as 2 points & (potentially) the title lost.

How about a bit of credit for West Brom for once in a while. First goal(s) Leicester have conceded at home in the league since before Christmas

"You couldn't wish for a better place to come and watch football. The place was jumping tonight. I can't believe more people in the game don't want Leicester to win the league. More people need to get on this bandwagon. It will be magnificent for football for them to win it now. I am a Leicester fan from now until the end of the season."

    Leicester 2-2 West Brom

Leicester's Andy King: "We should have won the game. They only had a couple of shots and they scored. We have to pick ourselves up again and go on Saturday.

"We’ve got that belief, so we always thought we would score. It’s disappointing."

    Norwich 1-2 Chelsea

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill: "It was horrible by the end. The last 15 to 20 minutes was tough. But in first half we were in control. In the second, it was a totally different game. Credit to them. It feels good to dig in and grind out the result."

    Sunderland 2-2 Crystal Palace

Sunderland would have wanted a win from this game, particularly at the break, when they led 1-0. But the point they have earned, after coming back from 2-1 down, has taken them out of the bottom three for the first time since September 2015.

  12. 'A big step taken'published at 21:43 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2016

    Bournemouth 2-0 Southampton

    Bournemouth

BBC Sport's Mark Mitchener at Vitality Stadium: "Three priceless points for Bournemouth - only their fourth home win of the season, and their first over Southampton in the league since 1958. Geography - rather than genuine rivalry - will mean this will be a night long remembered in Cherries history, but more important than any New Forest bragging rights is the big step they have taken towards Premier League survival. They have an eight-point cushion ahead of the drop zone with 10 games left."

"The atmosphere tonight has been tremendous. Leicester were nervy at first but they have played some incredible football and are unlucky not to win the game. The officials were outstanding, they contributed massively to an end-to-end Premier League match.

"We are hearing stories of fans leaving stadiums but you get value for money in a season ticket here at Leicester."
