Riyad Mahrez tells BBC Sport the team have "nine finals" left to play.

He admits he does think about being a champion when he is on his own.

"We are in a good way, if we carry on like this maybe we can do something crazy," says the Algerian. "To be honest I never thought we were favourites. Of course now we are first everyone will speak about us but we will just keep focused."

    Watford 0-1 Leicester

Leicester City's Riyad Mahrez speaks to Sky Sports: "It was very important to take points here with the draw between Arsenal and Tottenham. It was a good opportunity to go away from those two clubs. I'm very happy to score and help the team to win.

"Every player in this team has to bring something. We are a team, solid, together and I think this is the type of game we have to win sometimes.

Your best goal of the season? "I don't know, I have to see it again. When you're in the game you just want to score. It doesn't matter though, the most important is the team. We are doing something crazy this year."

On pulling up and holding his hamstring: I'm good, it was a little cramp, I'm good."

Can you feel excitement building? "I don't know if the excitement is getting bigger, after the game we were like normal. We are happy to be in this place. Not even we expected to be in this place. If we carry on maybe we can do something big. There are still nine games so we have to be focused. Five points is not that big, we have to keep going."

Watford manager Quique Sanchez Flores on if Leicester win the league: "It would be amazing for the league to show everyone it is possible in a very tough league. It means that this league is working very well. At the moment I look at the other teams and this is one of the best teams so it is not a surprise."

  6. Manager reactionpublished at 19:53 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Watford 0-1 Leicester

Watford manager Quique Sanchez Flores speaks to Sky Sports: "It was very difficult, they defended very well, lots of intensity through the middle. We created some attempts, we make one mistake and when they score first it is very difficult.

"It was the first time a lot of our defence had played together but after 15 minutes we created stability. The possession is 50-50, the attempts is 11-10, but the goal is the key.

Are you concerned about a goal drought? "Of course. We have problems to score in the last matches. For me it will be interesting not to look at the strikers in this case, it's important to get goals from the other lines, I don't want to put pressure on the strikers."

Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri tells Sky Sports why he introduced Andy King and Jeffrey Schlupp at half-time: "I saw they were in possession in midfield and we had Drinkwater and Kante alone to fight against them. I think I organised it better.

On the title race: "I don't know who is behind us, I asked to my players 'every match is a final'. I don't know how many points we need. At the start of the season I said we needed one more than 39 from last season. Of course now we are running for something special."

    Watford 0-1 Leicester

Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri speaks to BBC Sport: "An important win, a big battle. Now there will be only battles for everybody not just for us. A tough match. We created four or five chances, they created two or three.

    "We are so happy now.

"We wanted to show what we have inside. The desire is so high and we have a great opportunity. We know the way is very long and very tough.

On Riyad Mahrez hamstring: "No injury, he was tired and had a little cramp so I changed him in the late minutes. His goal was so important."

On the title race: "The title is not ours. We have to fight a lot, step by step and keep our feet on the ground. At the end we can see what happens. I'm sorry, we know every team can win or lose so it has to be slowly slowly."

Do you get a sense neutral fans are behind you? "Yes, I feel this as people stop me to say. Thank you, there is a good energy behind us and we must continue with this energy."

  16. Player reactionpublished at 19:28 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Watford 0-1 Leicester

Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel speaks to Sky Sports: "It was very tough, we knew coming here would be a tough ask. Riyad has come up with a bit of magic so we are delighted.

"We started well but lost our way a little and the manager made a change to sort of a 4-1-4-1, it gave us a little more stability and balance and helped.

"I think all the way through we have had the belief that we have the players going forward to do something special. We are there to provide the fundamental base for them to do their magic and again Riyad has come up with the goods.

"People will think I'm telling lies but it is honestly one game at a time because that is what has got us to this point. We are in a good position but nine games, a lot can happen in that time."

You know the rest and the away end is singing it loudly. "Ranieri, oh oh oh, Ranieri oh oh oh, he came from Italy, to manage the City."

There are blue and white scarfs on show, it's so noisy and the players clap in appreciation. There's a belief about this and a big roar as any player shows emotion. Ranieri gives the last clap. Talk about living out a dream. Enjoy it Leicester fans...
