So what does this incredible season have in store for us next? Can Leicester keep it up?

Jamie Vardy is typically game as he chases a through ball.... HE'S IN, around Heurelho Gomes, the angle narrows and his stab at goal is blocked. An opening already.

  2. KICK-OFFpublished at 1 min

    Watford 0-0 Leicester

A great start by Watford as they work a throw in smartly and Jose Holebas gets a shot off which deflects into the hands of Kasper Schmeichel. Holebas only came into the side shortly before kick-off, that would have been some way to announce yourself.

Leicester are all in white today. The high-fives between their players are feverish. Claudio Ranieri is looking on and wearing the type of smart blue coat that only an Italian man with a degree in suave can carry off.

This jovial character is not smiling yet. Watford huddle, final instructions.

Watford head coach Quique Sanchez Flores on Odion Ighalo's goal drought: "The situation of Ighalo is that he is fit, he is creating attempts, he is our main player, our main striker, and our reference in attack.

"In the last match against Manchester United he created five attempts, and three more against Bournemouth, so in one instance he is ready to score.

"Some day, maybe [against Leicester], he will finish the bad run and he will be able to score again."

    Watford v Leicester (17:30 GMT)

Troy Deeney and Wes Morgan are in conversation in the tunnel as they sip on energy drinks at the front of their team-mates.

"All the best boys," cries the referee and then the march begins as the Z-Cars tune blasts out.

It's an impressive sight in the home end, a huge banner and a tonne of yellow and black on show.

There is a lot of colour on show. Yellow and black flags wave in anticipation in the home end, it's like Borussia Dortmund meets Hertfordshire.

In the away end they have blue placards to hold up when the Foxes emerge from the tunnel.

  10. A two-man team?published at 17:23

    Watford v Leicester (17:30 GMT)

We know how important Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez are to Leicester's goal tally - they have 33 of the Foxes' 51 goals, which is 65% of their total. But Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney's goals are perhaps even more important to Watford. They have 76% of the Hornets' Premier League goals.

Leicester have vacated the pitch, Watford's players are still jumping on the spot a lot and sprinting, oh actually, here we go, they're heading in. Quique Sanchez Flores will probably get a full 15 seconds to speak to them before they are back out again.

  12. 'The unthinkable'published at 17:19 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Watford v Leicester (17:30 GMT)

    David Pleat
Former Tottenham boss on BBC Radio 5 live

"Leicester have unbelievable spirit which comes from integrating players from lesser backgrounds. It is a remarkable story with shade of Nottingham Forest from 1979, they have bought players from clubs who have something to prove and they have all come into their own.

"It is quite amazing that on that wonderful run last season they built an amazing spirit of 'we can't be beaten'. The King Power is a fortress. It is amazing what they have done and it is wonderful for Ranieri and his coaching staff. Not one pundit two years ago would have agreed that any club outside of the big six in the modern game could win the tittle. No-one ever thought that."

Kudos to Leicester City for flooding their Twitter feed with colour. They've cartoonized Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez and Kasper Schmeichel. The season their having is about as realistic as a cartoon to be fair.

The club are using the 'fearless Foxes' hashtag.

  18. Upset?published at 17:07

    Watford v Leicester (17:30 GMT)

Watford have been plucky, hard to beat and generally a nuisance for teams this season though, so maybe they can bring a halt to this Leicester momentum.

I'm looking at players warming up thoroughly. This Vicarage Road crowd would love to see a spanner thrown into the works today. Nathan Ake has an impressive head of hair. It's bouncing around beautifully as he jigs around to warm up.

  19. Leaders in townpublished at 17:05

It is March and I'm reading tweets like this. How has this happened?

Imagine if someone had said the league leaders would be in this fixture when the season started in August.
