    Everton 0-2 Arsenal

Arsenal find it way too easy to wiggle into space in the Everton box. This time, Alexis Sanchez beats a man on the right byline and pulls back for Mesut Ozil, whose shot is blocked.

This is an interesting one. Muhamed Besic is the man to make way for Stones. Defender for midfielder.

The Drifters (and mini Drifters) wrap up Stand By Me just before the two teams re-emerge from the tunnel. Looks like John Stones is coming on for the home side.

Martin Ratcliffe: Martinez has to go if Everton are to fight for Europe. Their squad is good enough to do what West Ham are doing this season.

Niall Hughes: Mori and Besic have been awful. Martinez has no presence on the sidelines. Lukaku will be gone after this and I don't blame him

Sam Hartles: Everton crowd is so toxic. Groans every time something goes wrong. Really doesn't help and gives the players no confidence

Roberto Martinez is going to have to cook up one hell of a team-talk. Arsenal have won their last 27 games when they have been 2-0 up at half-time.

Everton have now conceded 28 goals at home this Premier League season. That is more than any other side. There is your problem right there, Roberto.

    Pat Nevin

"A 1-0 lead at half-time would have been unfair on Arsenal, who have completely and utterly dominated this game.

"Everton are completely disjointed. At the whistle you heard not a chorus of booing but a muted boo. It's like the home fans have seen all this before."

Faddi: Incredible counter-attack there by Arsenal! Good goal by Iwobi.

    Everton 0-2 Arsenal

Where has this Arsenal been hiding?! The Gunners have been brilliant for 45 minutes and have not allowed Everton a kick. Danny Welbeck with the first, Alex Iwobi the second - his first for the club. Arsene Wenger's side completely in control.

It is a long way back for the home side.

These average positions show that Arsenal (right) are not frightened to get men forward in support of Danny Welbeck, Alex Iwobi (number 45) included. Everton have just not had the same penetration or support for Romelu Lukaku (10).

    Pat Nevin

"A thoroughly deserved second goal for Arsenal, and also deserved for Alex Iwobi, who has looked excellent in this game, so comfortable on the ball. He held off a strong challenge and was so calm as the keeper came out.

"Arsenal have looked so confident going forward, but this has been a terribly subdued performance from Everton. Hardly a positive you can take out of this.

"Arsenal on the other hand, had to win this game, and they are doing so comfortably."

    Alex Iwobi

What a moment for 19-year-old Alex Iwobi, who caps his first Premier League start with his first Arsenal goal. It showcases all the positive things Arsenal have demonstrated this half as the ball is won back in their own half before Hector Bellerin's superbly-weighted ball releases Iwobi to charge into the Everton box and finish low through the legs of Joel Robles. Fully deserved.

"Regarding that big penalty appeal, I don't think Sanchez had complete control of the ball at any time but that is a huge call from the referee and his assistant at that side. In a way, I don't think that was a penalty... I think it was two penalties! He was bundled twice!

Replays of the penalty incident show that Sanchez was perhaps caught by Muhamed Besic before he finally fell to ground following a sliding tackle by Ramiro Funes Mori. He still made a meal of it, though. Looks like Pat Nevin has a different view, though...

By the looks of it, Maria (1309) you might be the only one.

Sep from London: Mourinho and Wenger are rivals. As much as I'd love to see Mourinho at Arsenal, it would be very disrespectful towards Wenger in my opinion.

Emmanuel Ayodele: Wenger Out, Mourinho in? Please tell me what are you smoking?

Joel: Jose to Arsenal makes no sense. Style different from that embedded. Would clash with owner and the fans would like him less than Rafa was liked at Chelsea. Jose is United bound.

Matt Bickerton: I'd genuinely have to temporarily denounce my support of Arsenal if Mourinho took charge, I'd be disgusted.
