    Juventus 0-0 Napoli

Napoli look more threatening than Juve and they burst forward on the counter in the dying moments of the first half. Gonzalo Higuain spreads the ball out wide to Lorenzo Insigne, then gets on his bike to meet the delivery. But it is too hard, too high and too poor.

    One minute of stoppage time...

  2. KICK-OFFpublished at 20:31

    Valencia 0-0 Espanyol

Off again in Spain and 45 minutes for Neville to silence the doomsayers.

Just a reminder that Real Madrid beat Athletic Bilbao 4-2 earlier in the day with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring twice.

The Old Lady start swinging their leather handbag as they try to force Napoli to back off. Paulo Dybala shoots from the edge of the area, but his effort lacks power and Pepe Reina easily scoops up.

Always a pleasure to post wonderfully-cheesy football club graphics...

And from the resulting corner, Juve need veteran keeper Gianluigi Buffon to show the agility of a man half his age. The home skipper reacts brilliantly to block Raul Albiol's prod at the far post. The natives are starting to get restless as Napoli press...

Five minutes until the half-time break...

Surely....no! Gonzalo Higuain has his head in his hands - he can't believe he hasn't scored. But Juve defender Leonardo Bonucci is the reason why. Higuain looks certain to bury a delicious cross from the right flank, only to see the ball nicked away from his forehand by the Italy international's outstretched size 10. Quality defending.

Gonzalo Higuain needs feeding. He's starving. Napoli are enjoying plenty of the ball, but can't deliver it to their top scorer.

Despite edging possession, the visitors are struggling to make things click in the final third as we pass the 30-minute mark.

But don't mistake a lack of goal attempts as 'boring'. You daren't take your eyes off this game for a second.

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:17 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2016

    Valencia 0-0 Espanyol

Time for a breather. Neville's side is still to take the lead in a La Liga match under his care.

Cheryshev lashed a shot into the side netting just before the break but Espanyol have still had the best chance through Felipe Caicedo's early effort.

Valencia may need Alvaro Negredo in the second half with the former Manchester City man waiting on the bench.

    Juventus 0-0 Napoli

    Juventus v Napoli

Napoli haven't looked like breaching the stingy Juve defence yet. Oh hang on...they've got a free-kick about 40 yards out. Nope. Kalidou Koulibaly is picked out by Jorginho but the defender's downward header is calmly booted out by Paul Pogba.

Five minutes until half-time and it's all gone a little quiet at the Mestalla.

The home fans are doing their best to lift their side but Neville will need to provide a bit of inspiration at half time - if he can make himself understood.

Play soon resumes after that stoppage, with the home side winning a free-kick about 25 yards out. This is their best opportunity so far as the click ticks towards the 20-minute mark.

Paul Pogba's pink streak of hair looks sharp - but his free-kick execution is not as eye-catching. Napoli keeper Pepe Reina watches the effort fly by his left-hand post.

    Juventus 0-0 Napoli

Juve's players are in the wars. A brief break in play as tough-as-teak centre-half Leonardo Bonucci receives treatment for being headbutted by his team-mate Sami Khedira. Accidentally, of course.

Valencia defender Enzo Perez speaks out of turn and collects a needless yellow card. Neville looks suitably stern.

Even steven. Napoli enjoy plenty of possession in Juve territory after that earlier counter attack breaks down with an overhit pass towards Gonzalo Higuain. We've hardly seen the Napoli striker yet.

We have, however, seen plenty of Juan Cuadrado. The Juve winger wriggles into space in the right channel, trying to catch out Pepe Reina at his near post. Reina is too wise for that.

  18. Postpublished at 20:01 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2016

    Valencia 0-0 Espanyol

Neville is at his most animated on the touchline with half an hour gone as he encourages his side.

He will be pleased with the effort of his players but this is all about the result and he needs a goal from somewhere.

  19. Postpublished at 19:59 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2016

    Valencia 0-0 Espanyol

Valencia have forced a couple of corners but can't make them count, Aderlan Santos going closest with a far-post header which is easily saved by Pau Sabata.

Espanyol have lost six of their last seven games but don't look short of fight.

  20. Postpublished at 19:58 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2016

    Juventus 0-0 Napoli

Juve are warming to their task now. Home winger Juan Cuadrado, on loan from Chelsea remember, wins a free-kick in a dangerous position which Napoli then clear for a corner. But Cuadrado's delivery fails to beat the front man and Napoli scamper on the counter...
