Oh. My. Word. This is OUTRAGEOUS!

Lionel Messi takes the penalty...but what's he doing?! He touches the ball about a yard to his right...and Luis Suarez appears to gleefully blast in.

Think Robert Pires and Thierry Henry - with the execution. Even Luis Enrique is belly laughing on the sideline. He had no idea that was coming!

    Barcelona 3-1 Celta Vigo

Celta are staggering around punch drunk. Lionel Messi is tugged back by Planas as he dances into the area. The referee points to the spot....

  3. CLOSE!published at 21:07 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2016

    Barcelona 3-1 Celta Vigo

Only one thing is missing for Barcelona now - a Neymar goal. The Brazilian is put clean through, but Celta keeper Sergio Álvarez takes the sting out of the finish, allowing his defence to hack clear off the line. Respite...

So here's what happened. Cristian Tello, having had an utterly forgettable night, is taken off by manager Paulo Sousa, who brings on Mauro Zarate, the former Birmingham and West Ham man.

And no sooner is the change made, than Fiorentina break free of their frustrations to equalise. Josip Ilicic's cross is deflected and Borja Valero heads in from eight yards. Tello probably doesn't know whether to laugh or cry right now.

Olateru Olu: Barcelona is a team that will win 8 out 10 anytime, any day, any competition. Incredible.

Hassan_Anfield: Whenever I watch Luis Suarez playing, he's always getting better and better.

And there you go. Moments after Celta could have levelled, Barca waltz across the floor with the speed and fluency of a Strictly dancer.

    Messi...Neymar...Suarez...goal. It's a familiar tale.

Lionel Messi surges forward, picks out the run of Neymar in the left channel, he cheekily rolls the ball around the keeper with his studs, squaring for Luis Suarez to bundle in. Game over.

    Barcelona 2-1 Celta Vigo

Celta are having a go. Another chance goes begging as Daniel Wass stings the palms of Claudio Bravo. But if they don't take their chances they will be punished...

    Fiorentina 0-1 Inter Milan

Cristian Tello continues to labour on the wing for Fiorentina, but it has not been his night so far. At least he is still trying. A positive run in from the right ends as Geoffrey Kondogbia rakes studs down his calf. The referee sees nowt wrong and waves play on. No justice.

Hang on, here's a sign that this game isn't over yet. Celta create a good opening, John Guidetti showing tenacity on the edge of the area to set up Danish midfielder Daniel Wass. But he only troubles the gentleman sat on the front row behind the Barca goal. Little over 20 minutes for the visitors to salvage something.

The rain is hammering down in Florence. Three sides of the Stadio Artemio Franchi have no roof. It is February. This cannot be much fun for the fans.

    Fiorentina 0-1 Inter Milan

You know, the contrast between Fiorentina's two wingers tonight could not be more stark, and it is demonstrated with their first attack of the second half. On the left, Federico Bernardeschi is busy and alert, keeping the move alive by cutting inside when he runs into traffic. When the play is switched to the right, Cristian Tello dribbles the ball out of play for a goal kick. He looks bereft of ideas, and short of confidence.

Barca look a different side since the break. The passing is crisper, the movement sharper, the signs ominous for Celta...

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:51

    Barcelona 2-1 Celta Vigo

A couple of changes for Barca as soon as they get their noses back in front.

Right-back Dani Alves and midfielder Sergi Roberto are the players hooked, with Aleix Vidal and Ivan Rakitic coming on.

Alves introduces one of his size eights to the side of the bench as he shows his displeasure at that decision.

It has been coming. Sensational stuff from Barcelona as Luis Suarez guides the home side back in front. Lionel Messi is the architect, clipping through the heart of the Celta defence. Suarez races on to the inch-perfect pass before guiding in a half-volley for his 21st goal in 23 Liga games this season. Unstoppable.

A big breaking story from France...

Paris St-Germain right-back Serge Aurier has been suspended indefinitely after appearing to use homophobic language to insult coach Laurent Blanc.

The Ivorian, 23, was also shown calling team-mate Angel di Maria a "clown" as he answered questions from fans on social media app Periscope.

Bet Aurier wishes he went on that 'The Dangers of Social Media' seminar now...

    Barcelona 1-1 Celta Vigo

Celta haven't offered much of an attacking threat since the restart but when they do, they aren't given much help from the referee. John Guidetti tries to slip past Gerard Pique by whipping the ball back inside the Barca centre-back, who sticks out an arm. Clear handball. Nothing given. No wonder the Swedish striker is fuming.
