  1. 'Celta must keep identity'published at 19:29

Barcelona v Celta Vigo (19:30 GMT)

How do you win at the Nou Camp? It is a conundrum that some of the world's greatest managers think they have known how to solve. Then their sides have been played off the park.

But Celta boss Eduardo Berizzo is a boss who has been there, done it and bought the half-and-half scarf.

"The way to win, whoever plays, is by keeping to our identity," says Berizzo, who led Celta to a 1-0 win last season.

"We need to press the right way to win the ball and get it moving vertically. If you do that at the Camp Nou you can create chances to score.”

  2. How do you say 'bogey team' in Catalan?published at 19:28

Barcelona v Celta Vigo (19:30 GMT)

Not only did Barca lose to Celta last time out - they were thrashed 4-1 by the Galicians.

And Luis Enrique, who left Celta to take charge of Barca in May 2014, is well aware of the danger posed by his old side, who also won 1-0 at the Camp Nou last season.

"They are the only team to have beaten us twice and the last time comprehensively," he said.

"They dominate all factors of the game and are very brave. It is true they are missing some important players, but they will maintain the same style of play."

Fiorentina v Inter Milan (19:45 GMT)

Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini is able to recall Brazil international Miranda in central defence after suspension. Eder and Rodrigo Palacio flank Mauro Icardi in a three-man attack.

Fiorentina's attack is led by former Blackburn forward Nikola Kalinic, who scored a hat-trick against Inter at the San Siro in September, and the starting line-up also includes one-time Bolton defender Marcos Alonso at left-back and ex-West Brom man Borja Valero in midfield.

  5. The race is onpublished at 19:21

Fiorentina v Inter Milan (19:45 GMT)

The top-of-the-table rumble between Juventus and Napoli has rightly dominated the Italian back pages this weekend, but a quick glance at the Serie A charts shows that tonight's clash could have serious repercussions.

With three clubs qualifying for next season's Champions League, both Fiorentina and Inter Milan have designs on that other spot behind Juve and Napoli (presume the runaway duo don't implode).

Three points for either Fiorentina or Inter Milan will lift them above Roma into third, while a draw will see the capital club hang on to that spot by the skin of their teeth.

  7. Have Celta got Luis Enrique sussed?published at 19:17

Barcelona v Celta Vigo (19:30 GMT)

Barcelona have got revenge on their minds. The Spanish giants aren't the most generous of football sides, rarely offering any gifts to their opponents.

But Celta Vigo have managed to suss out the mighty Catalans recently, having won both of their past two meetings.

Perhaps it is a coincidence that Celta have outwitted Luis Enrique, a man whose psyche they know very well. Of course, he used to be their gaffer before joining Barca ahead of last season. Perhaps it isn't.

However, they will have to do something that 29 other teams from across the world have not managed to do recently...gulp...and beat Barca.

    Getafe 0-1 Atletico Madrid

The final whistle has been peeped in another La Liga game - and it is an important one.

Atletico weren't pretty in the lesser-known Madrid derby at Getafe, but boy were they effective.

Fernando Torres (remember him?) scored after just 61 seconds to give Atletico a lead that Getafe could not overturn.

Atletico are back level on points with Barca - for at least a couple of hours, maybe more.

Barcelona v Celta Vigo (19:30 GMT)

Barca boss Luis Enrique had the luxury of resting 11 senior players for their midweek Copa del Rey tie at Valencia. Well they did win the first leg 7-0 after all...

But the big names are back. Lionel Messi is fit to return despite undergoing treatment on a kidney stone problem, reuniting with Neymar and Luis Suarez in attack. Gulp.

Hola amigos! Romance and generosity can be dumped in the bin for another year - there's no time for gifts tonight. Four of Europe's top teams have got the serious business of winning football matches to attend to.

Our focus will be on Spain where La Liga leaders Barcelona welcome seventh-placed Celta Vigo to the Nou Camp. And we will also provide regular updates as Fiorentina host Inter Milan - or fourth v fifth - over in Italy

Now that's what we call a tasty two-for-one deal.

You've probably all had enough of Valentine's Day. If you're loved up then you'll have spent a small fortune. If you're a singleton then you've probably been cynically suggesting for the past week or so that the whole concept is just a way of retailers and restaurants to make shed loads of cash.

Sport isn't exempt from jumping on the bandwagon either. We've already had Valentine's Day 'massacres'. We had plenty of 'Hart' and 'Rose' puns during our Premier League games earlier.

But we're declaring this as a Valentine's-free zone tonight. And luckily our continental cousins won't be in the mood for anything lovey-dovey either.
