I'll sign off now. Congratulations to Hearts, who will be a happy bunch on the long bus journey back to Edinburgh.

Next up for the Jambos is a home game with Partick Thistle on Saturday, while Ross County take on league leaders Celtic in Glasgow.

Ronny Deila's team might just have revenge on their minds after the recent League Cup semi-final.

As if Staggies fans weren't feeling bad enough after that defeat, BBC Sportsound pundit Barry Wilson points out they are now closer to 11th spot in the Premiership than third.

Ross County manager Jim McIntyre on BBC Radio Scotland

"It was a never a 3-0. It's one of those games when we haven't taken our chances and we've gifted them the lead. When Hearts get in front they are a very hard team to break down.

"For spells we were the dominant team but you need to put the ball in the net.

"I saw my team make good chances against a good team on a bobbly pitch. The performance level was good but we made individual errors and we've been punished."

That's a hat-trick of wins for Hearts over County this season.

The Staggies record in this fixture is not great, with just one win in the 14 meetings between the sides.

Hearts head coach Robbie Neilson on BBC Radio Scotland

"The two teenagers in central defence did really well. They dealt with County's physicality and passed the ball well. This is a tough place to come and to get a 3-0 win is really pleasing. We got a little bit of luck with the first goal but we saw the game out well. Dauda is a top player and he showed his quality with those two goals.

"We are looking up the way. We want to hunt down Aberdeen and we want to hunt down Celtic."

The first Hearts goal owed a lot to good fortune, with the ball going in off the back of Jamie Walker, who had no idea what was going on. However, the two late goals from substitute Abiola Dauda were top drawer finishes.

That's the first time County have failed to score at home this season and what was a makeshift Hearts defence can feel very proud of that.

Groans from the home fans and we'll need another new ball as Michael Gardyne snatches at a good shooting opportunity and blazes it high into the Dingwall night.

More good work from Liam Boyce as he manages to turn and flash the ball across goal from an acute angle. It just needs a touch but no touch is forthcoming...

A break in play as Jordan McGhee needs some attention on a dunt to his back. The defender is back on, although he is still wincing.
