    Wolves 1-0 Derby (Saville)

That's a delicious finish by George Saville, the former Chelsea trainee's first goal for Wolves.

He controls a Nathan Byrne pass instantly inside the penalty box and finds the bottom corner with a lovely finish.

  2. Wolves 0-0 Derbypublished at 12 mins

Cyrus Christie is often a prominent player for Derby pushing forward from defence, but he is going to have to be mindful of Wolves winger Jeremy Helan. Both have made a good impression in the early stages.

  3. Wolves 0-0 Derbypublished at 8 mins

The home side were struggling to find time on the ball very early on, but new signing Jeremy Helan just showed he has pace to burn with a strong run down the left. An encouraging start by him.

  4. Wolves 0-0 Derbypublished at 5 mins

Jacob Butterfield has a low shot comfortably saved by Wolves keeper Carl Ikeme.

Butterfield loves a long-range strike. He got the winner against Blackburn in midweek. Derby are looking lively going forward.

  5. Wolves 0-0 Derbypublished at 2 mins

A bright start by Wolves who force an early corner when Cyrus Christie has to slice the ball over his own bar. But the set-piece comes to nothing.

It's easy this Championship lark. Victory today and it's three wins from his last three for new Rams head coach Darren Wassall.

It would take Derby to within four points of the top of the table - albeit with both Middlesbrough and Burnley in action this afternoon and Brighton playing on Monday.

A win for Wolves and they could go up to 11th.

There's just the one change from the Derby County side that beat Blackburn, George Thorne returning to the centre of midfield after injury. Jamie Hanson is the unlucky man to miss out, but he is on the bench.

And before you have your say on the game itself. Any thoughts on the team news?

Wolves boss Kenny Jackett has made three changes to the side beaten by Brentford on Tuesday, with Jeremy Helan going straight into the starting XI for his debut, having only arrived on loan from Sheffield Wednesday during the week.

Anyway, enough of me banging on.

Are you Wolves fans able to share in the optimism offered by a neutral, or it impossible to cast your eyes beyond some abject performances?

And are you Rams still smarting from letting Paul Clement go when the team were fifth in the league?

We would love to hear your thoughts. Give us a nudge via Twitter using #bbcfootball.

  11. The fickle world of footballpublished at 12:19

    Wolves v Derby (12:30 GMT)

Wolves are only on a seven-game winless run for starters.

And okay, it's 14 points from the play-offs and 14 points from safety, manager Kenny Jackett has called the run "rotten" and mid-table mediocrity appears to be beckoning.

But, in the notoriously fickle world of football, a couple of victories could get things going again and will surely go a long way to lifting the gloom around Molineux?

And there's always a team getting in to the play-off with a late surge. Feeling any better?

Hello, good afternoon and welcome to your lunchtime Championship offering.

Let's start with the positives to come out of the negatives and keep things upbeat for you Wolves fans, yeah? Stick with me...

Two games ago Derby were on an eight-match winless run, had just sacked their manager and were taking all sorts of flak from their supporters and - in fact - pretty much anyone and everyone.

Now they have two wins from two, are thinking about promotion again and, are apparently full of confidence.
