"Antonio also did brilliantly down the right hand side with the cross. The ball sat up beautifully for Cresswell, he had a touch on his thigh, composed himself and unleashed a left foot volley that was unstoppable."

    Aaron Cresswell

Oh my word! A superb goal from Aaron Cresswell has turned this game on it's head.

Michail Antonio does really well to get to the byline and after his cross is glanced away by a Leicester head, Cresswell picks up possession on an angle on the left and smashes a shot over Kasper Schmeichel and into the far top corner.

A Hammer blow, in every way. And an almighty twist in the title race.

    Leicester 1-0 West Ham

OK, so West Ham have had more possession since Vardy's sending off, but they have hardly put Leicester under serious pressure. And Kasper Schmeichel hasn't been properly tested.

    Leicester 1-0 West Ham

"That is the worse free-kick I have ever seen Payet take. IT never started on the goal and ended up about six metres over the bar,"

Not one for the Payet scrapbook. He beats the wall but also the crossbar, by some distance.

With Payet lining up the free-kick, Leicester withdraw Mahrez and send on Daniel Amartey.

Wes Morgan goes into the book for a foul on Andy Carroll. This free-kick is in Payet territory...

The game continues to be played in the Leicester half as West Ham attack down the right. Michail Antonio gets to the byline and crosses low but N'Golo Kante cuts it out and the home side clear.

    Leicester 1-0 West Ham

Leicester are deep. West Ham can't get through. From a corner, Angelo Ogbonna juggles the ball with his back to goal before flicking it into his own face. Interesting.

    Leicester 1-0 West Ham

Emmanuel Emenike fires over from outside the box after  Dimitri Payet is taken down. Both sets of fans boo. West Ham because of what they saw as a foul, Leicester because they are still smarting from Vardy's dismissal and perceive some double-standards.

Victor Moses is taken off to be replaced by Enner Valencia. West Ham trying to find the magic formula up front to unlock this solid Leicester defence.

Dharma Djojonegoro: Watched that replay dozen times now...speaking as a neutral I must say the yellow card is extremely harsh. Ridiculous decision.

Rich Olyott: Interesting to see how Leicester get on without Vardy from the off next game...

    Leicester 1-0 West Ham

    Mark Lawrenson
Former Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 live

"Leicester have been in this position this season where they are protecting a 1-0 lead with 10 outfield players, but they have not done it with nine and they usually have that wonderful outlet player in Jamie Vardy."

    Leicester 1-0 West Ham

Victor Moses offers a half-hearted appeal for a penalty, but Danny Drinkwater has done nothing wrong in steering him out of play as he drives to the left byline.

  20. Fury at Leicesterpublished at 14:51 British Summer Time 17 April 2016

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at The King Power Stadium

Leicester City's fans are furious about referee Jon Moss's decision to give Jamie Vardy a second yellow card for diving - but in my opinion it was fully justified as that was so theatrical as he chased with Angelo Ogbonna.

West Ham have real chances here now. What a twist.
