Arsenal v Crystal Palace (16:00 BST)

Back to the Emirates Stadium, and Arsenal are attempting to pick up their league season against a Crystal Palace side who have slumped down the Premier League table in 2016. Alan Pardew's side were fifth at the turn of the year; their only league victory since then was against Norwich eight days ago. Jason Puncheon's winner in that game may just have done enough to prevent Palace from slipping into serious relegation trouble.

    Leicester 1-2 West Ham

A bit of drama to tell you about at the King Power Stadium. Leaders Leicester, already down to 10 men after Jamie Vardy was sent off early in the second half, are 2-1 down at home to West Ham, who have scored twice in a couple of minutes. Andy Carroll equalised with a penalty, and Aaron Cresswell has just put the visitors in front with a cracker of a goal. There's live text commentary on that one here.

That 3-3 draw at West Ham eight days ago pretty much ended any faint hopes that Arsenal may have had of catching leaders Leicester. The priority now is to secure Champions League qualification for a 19th consecutive season.

League leaders in January, Arsenal looked well placed to end a 12-year wait to be champions of England. Since then, it has all rather got away from them, as it so often has in the past. A run of just four wins in 12 Premier League matches means that they start today's home game against Crystal Palace lying in fourth place. Not everyone of an Arsenal persuasion is entirely satisfied with this - as one banner on display in the away end at West Ham last weekend showed.

  5. And the answer is...published at 15:05 British Summer Time 17 April 2016

Arsenal v Crystal Palace (16:00 BST)

The answer, as I'm sure you've all worked out, is: We don't know yet - but probably 3 or 4. That sequence of numbers represents Arsenal's league finishes in each of the last 10 seasons. They're consistently in the Champions League places, but rarely in the title race when it really matters. So it is again this season for Arsene Wenger's men. Good afternoon.

Too few live text football commentaries start with a logic puzzle. So here's one to test your brain: Which number comes next in this sequence:

    4, 4, 3, 4, 3, 4, 3, 4, 4, 3, ??
