Dream Team have a nightmare
In the first game of the 2004 Athens Olympic basketball tournament, an all-NBA team for the United States (containing Tim Duncan and Allen 'the answer' Iverson – and a young LeBron James) were beaten 92-73 by Puerto Rico.
Complete and utter Olympic bemusment
It was the first defeat in an Olympic tournament for an NBA-based US team, ending a run of 24 games unbeaten. One week earlier, the same Puerto Rico squad had lost to Spain by 50 points in a warm-up match.

Steve Claridge
Ex-Leicester striker on BBC Radio 5 live
"Claudio Ranieri will have thought the last couple of months ‘we have a magnificent chance of winning the title'. He has been straight and honest and he's a thoroughly decent man.”

Shane Lavery: I'm from Ireland but I've been to both Birmingham and Coventry. That's close enough to Leicester, right?

On the red carpet
Shock wins are not limited to the sporting arena, of course.
There is plenty of chat that the suits of Hollywood have taken notice of Leicester's story this season. Does more success await?
A scan down the annals of Oscar winners throws up some surprise results - Chicago for best film? Dench for six minutes' work? - but did you know about the Oscar won by the ex-Dundee United skipper?
Is Spielberg the man to bring the Foxes to the silver screen?
Honestly. Neil Paterson scored a hat-trick for United but never turned pro, instead choosing to focus on his writing career.
It paid off too. He won Best Adapted Screenplay for Room At The Top in 1959.
Superb.

Zippy, Dorset: I once drove past Leicester on my way to my aunt-in-laws house. So practically makes me a fan.
Ant Wilson: I'm in Nottingham, no love for Leicester round here - we're still annoyed they got promoted!

Recognise this familiar face?
This is Gaston del Castillo otherwise known as Sergio Aguero's brother.
The 18-year-old striker has made his debut for Argentine side Independiente as a second-half substitute against San Lorenzo, the same club that his famous brother started out at.

While Leicester City were 5,000-1 shots at the start of the season, that was only the fraction of the odds of jockey Frankie Dettori’s Magnificent Seven in 1996.
Dettori rode all seven winners on one afternoon at Ascot at combined odds of more than 25,000-1.
What odds would a 38-game accumulator on Leicester be though?!
Botham's Ashes? Try Vardy's title...
Bookmakers Ladbrokes say other big-priced sporting winners include:
500/1 Greece to win Euros
500/1 England during play to win at Headingley, 1981 Ashes
100/1 Japan to beat South Africa at the rugby world cup
50/1 Buster Douglas to knock out Mike Tyson.
Swansea 0-0 Liverpool
The day's action is under way.
Joe Johnson
Ask a room full of sports journalists for their nominations for shock winners - while the snooker is on - and you'll get a flood of emails for Joe Johnson.
Johnson was a 34-year-old gas fitter who had never won a single match in seven years of trying at the Crucible when he rocked up at the 1986 worlds.
But a crazy run to the final ended with Johnson beating world number one Steve Davis 18-12 in the final,.
He was a 150-1 shot at the Crucible. A massive outsider.
But practically a banker compared to Leicester...

Kasabian guitarist and Leicester City fan Serge Pizzorno says he would give up life in the band to play with forward Riyad Marhrez.
"I'd give up playing in the band to play upfront this season," Pizzorno tells BBC Newsbeat.
"Just not when we were in the first division. You can have that, but this season yes."

Guy Mowbray
BBC Match of the Day commentator
"I bet you've heard the same as me this week a few times: 'I think United will beat Leicester'.
"Yes, they're being doubted to the end.
"What can (surely?!) no longer be in doubt is that Leicester WILL be Premier League champions, and could emulate Arsenal in 2002 by confirming it at the ground that's held more title parties than any other.
"It will have to be properly earned at Old Trafford though, with United motivated by their chase for a top-four finish and possibly a US-style 'not in our house' approach.
"May Day is symbolically the start of fresh, new beginnings. How very appropriate for what Leicester have given to football this season.
"'St. Claudio's Day' anyone?"

Andrew Kelly: On the subject of upsets(and relays) can't go past GB winning 4x100m Athens 2004-incredible! Think Utd might ruin the party
Booyah: Leicester similar odds at start of season as Stephen Bradbury pre-2002 Salt Lake City winter Olympics.
Bradbury was an Australian speed skater who won gold unexpectedly after all of his opponents were involved in a last corner pile-up. He definitely can't have been 5,000-1 can he? Surely...
Sri Lanka change the game
Sri Lanka had made up the numbers at every Cricket World Cup between 1975 and 1992, but something dramatic and revolutionary happened in 1996.
They ditched conservative openers in place of pinch-hitters at the top of the order, and embraced unorthodox young bowlers like Muttiah Muralitharan.
The result was a sensational run to the final and subsequent victory over an Australia team containing the Waugh brothers, Ricky Ponting, Shane Warne and Glenn McGrath.
Giants of the game cut down to size. Australian giants at that – what’s not to like about Sri Lanka’s shock success?

James, from Winchester: Born in Leicester though moved to South Devon very young. The lack of good teams (I tried to support Torquay!) led to a five-year-old me to settle upon Manchester United, though in my defence it was the season Blackburn won the league. Fast forward to today, even I will be cheering on the Foxes. Theatre of Dreams has never been more appropriate.
Midsibmike: Used to teach in Leicester and go to Filbert St. Now supporting from Brisbane Australia. KO at about 11.00pm
