    Chelsea 2-2 Tottenham

    Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino: "First of all I congratulate Leicester and Claudio Ranieri and his players and supporters. Disappointed because I thought we fought to be in the race. At 2-0 up in the first half, in the second half we have to counter and score the third but this happens. When we conceded the first goal anything can happen. Very disappointed but at the same time very proud of my players.

"It was a derby and we were fighting for the title and Chelsea were fighting. It makes us feel proud how Chelsea show big respect to us and this is the way we want to carry on next season. We respect them, we have full respect for them.

"It’s football, we are men, they are men we need to show we are strong. It was a good lesson for us, we are the youngest squad in the league, we feel very proud and our supporters need to feel proud too, we have massive potential for the future. We are disappointed because of the title but we need to be realistic and congratulate our players. Next season we need to be more stronger than this season and try to be in the race."

    Phil McNulty
    BBC Sport chief football writer

"As someone who predicted Leicester City to be relegated before the start of the season and questioned the appointment of manager Claudio Ranieri, there is probably not enough humble pie to go around.

"What a story and what a way to be proved wonderfully, ridiculously wrong. There may never be a Premier League story - or arguably a British sporting story - to top the tale of the team that went from relegation strugglers to title winners in 12 months.

"And there has not been a hint of good fortune about it. Leicester City have been the best team in the country this season, a team full of resilience and character but also great ability.

"As for Ranieri, the Italian many thought would always remain a nearly man, he has made history. What a triumph for this popular and engaging personality, an absolute gentleman whose victory will be celebrated by everyone with the good of sport and football at heart."

As a Bolton Wanderers fan I've had nothing to celebrate this season, genuinely celebrated Hazard's equaliser and felt every Leicester fan's nerves in the final 10 mins. Couldn't be happier for them!

Chelsea captain John Terry: "Players are fighting for league titles, it’s emotions. Congratulations to Leicester because they have been superb this year.

"It still hurts us tonight losing the league after winning it last year. We weren’t here to beat Tottenham and stop them doing it, it hurts us conceding it to Leicester but we will be back next year.

"It boiled over let’s not get silly and start banning people, it’s a London derby and the fans want to see it. (Ranieri) has been different class, to do what they have done has been unbelievable and given hope to the smaller sides. He’s a great manager and a great person. All season long they have kept churning out results."
