  1. Charlton 0-0 Middlesbroughpublished at 1 man

We are under way in the second of our Championship games this afternoon.

And now we are very swiftly back off again as there's a lengthy delay caused by protesting Charlton fans throwing black and white beach balls onto the pitch.

    Charlton v Middlesbrough (15:30 GMT)

Charlton followed up an encouraging away victory at Brentford with a disappointing goalless draw against fellow strugglers MK Dons.

Middlesbrough come into this one off the back of a shock 1-0 loss at Neil Warnock’s Rotherham.

The visitors ran out 3-0 winners the last time the two sides met in October, and haven’t lost to the Addicks in nine league games.

Former midfielder Agnew made over 450 career appearances for clubs including Barnsley, Sunderland and Leicester, before taking his first coaching job with Gateshead.

The 50-year-old has been an assistant manager at Hartlepool and Leeds, and is now in his third spell at Middlesbrough.

He’s also the uncle of striker Jordan Rhodes, who joined the Teessiders in a £9m deal from Blackburn in January.

For all the recent drama, Middlesbrough’s troubles pale into insignificance compared to what Charlton fans have had to endure.

The Addicks are eight points adrift of safety and are already onto their third manager of the campaign.

Supporters angry at owner Roland Duchatelet held a mock funeral procession before the game, and a mass walkout is planned for the 75th minute of the match to represent the 75 goals Charlton have conceded in all competitions.

Second in the Championship, with a chance to go five points clear of third placed Hull, you’d be forgiven for thinking all would be well at Middlesbrough.

Not so. On Friday, manager Aitor Karanka left the club’s training ground after a row, with assistant Steve Agnew placed in charge for the trip to the Valley.

The Teessiders led the table by six points on 12 January, but they have since won only three of their past 10 games and desperately need three points to get their promotion chase back on track.

  7. One down, one to gopublished at 15:16 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2016

So, no goals in our first Championship game of the afternoon, but we've still got plenty of time to turn that around.

Next up, struggling Charlton host Middlesbrough in a game both teams need to win, for very different reasons.

We had a lot of chances and a penalty shout but it was a great game and Wolves more than matched us. But there's still plenty of time for us. A few results did not go our way but there's 10 games to go and it's another point on the board.

  10. FULL-TIME: Wolves 0-0 Birminghampublished at 15:06

No more chances in three minutes of added time, and it finishes goalless.

It's probably a fair result, with Wolves on top in the first half and Birmingham controlling the game after the break.

The Blues move up to eighth, four points behind Sheffield Wednesday in sixth, while Wolves climb one place to 12th.

Into the final minute of the 90, can anyone find a winner?

Kortney Hause was convinced he should have had a penalty for Wolves a few moments ago, as he grappled with Jonathan Spector inside the Birmingham area.

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 87 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Birmingham

Former Cardiff forward Joe Mason replaces Jeremy Helan for Wolves, who desperately need someone to keep hold of the ball inside Birmingham's half.

The hosts push forward for a rare attack, but George Saville's header is blocked.

The man who has impressed me most today is David Davis. He's been everywhere today. He certainly knows what this derby means. He's still going at the same pace as when the game started. If anyone deserves to score today, it's him.

Finally a shot on target for Birmingham, but Carl Ikeme is equal to it.

David Cotterill finds David Davis, who does brilliantly to make room and get a powerful shot away which Ikeme parries out for a corner.

  15. Wolves 0-0 Birminghampublished at 81 mins

Birmingham should be in front, and Jon Toral is the guilty party this time.

The ball falls kindly to the on-loan Arsenal forward, but he missed the target with a shot from 10 yards out.

Gary Rowett's side have somehow yet to test Carl Ikeme despite their second-half efforts.

  16. Wolves 0-0 Birminghampublished at 76 mins

Wolves take an age over a free-kick from 25-yards out - they could do with a rest to be fair.

Jeremy Helan eventually steps up to take it, but he gets a little too much bend on his shot and fails to trouble Birmingham keeper Tomasz Kuszczak.

Clayton Donaldson really should have hit the target there.

The striker is put clean through on goal after good work by Jon Toral, but he fails to test Wolves keeper Carl Ikeme with his weaker left foot.

  18. YELLOW CARD (Saville)published at 72 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Birmingham

Wolves are clinging on against wave after wave of Birmingham attacks.

George Saville becomes the first Wolves player to go into the book for a tackle on Stephen Gleeson.

The hosts stand firm to clear David Cotterill's subsequent free-kick, before the Welshman shoots way, way over from distance.

  19. Wolves 0-0 Birminghampublished at 68 mins

Big penalty appeal from Birmingham and Clayton Donaldson.

Donaldson feels that he is dragged back by Matt Doherty in the Wolves area, but there's nothing given.

There was definitely contact - was that the right decision?

  20. Wolves 0-0 Birminghampublished at 65 mins

There's a goal in this, there's got to be.

Space is opening up at both ends of the field, with both teams counter-attacking at pace.

Birmingham's Jacques Maghoma finds a stretching Clayton Donaldson inside the area with a cross from the left, but Wolves full-back Matt Doherty gets across to put him off.
