Ref Jose Sanchez, the target of their ire (if you haven't), toots his whistle to signal the start of the second half, Barca get things moving...

    Torino 1-4 Juventus

Juventus have gone six points clear at the top of Serie A after an eventful Turin derby.

The champions finished with 10 men after Sami Khedira received a straight red card.

But Alvaro Morata's second-half double, following goals from Khedira and Paul Pogba, kept the title charge in top gear.

Gianluigi Buffon was finally beaten from the penalty spot, but not before the Juve legend had secured a new Serie A record.

The white hankies are out from the Villarreal fans. They are livid at the decisions from the man in the middle. One member of their coaching staff storms up to the referee after the half-time whistle, but is shepherded away before he says something he might regret.

Barca lead at the break, but their second should never have been penalty.

He's having a nightmare! Referee Jose Sanchez might need a security escort to leave El Madrigal. Another shocker of a decision, booking Villarreal left-back Antonio Rukavina for having the temerity to cleanly win the ball.

Salt. Wounds. Rubbed. Neymar cheekily clips down a panenka-style penalty.

To say the Villarreal fans are seething would be a gross understatement....

Somebody call 999. Villarreal have been robbed.

Shocking decision. Villarreal keeper Sergio Asenjo brilliantly saves at the feet of the on-rushing Neymar with a stretching hand. But the referee gives a penalty!

Neymar didn't even appeal. Asenjo goes loco, ref Jose Sanchez wafts a yellow card in his face.

Claudio Bravo has actually been the busiest keeper so far. The Barca number one is called into action again, comfortably gathering Trigueros's 15-yard shot.

It's a second for Alvaro Morata - prodded home from a Paul Pogba mis-cue - with Juventus home and hosed and on their way to a six-point lead at the top of Serie A.

Morata has scored both the champions' second-half goals after Torino had finally found a way past Gianluigi Buffon to briefly make it 2-1 from the penalty spot.

    Villarreal 0-1 Barcelona

Lionel Messi ends up on the deck in the Villarreal penalty area, stacking it as he tries to avoid a challenge from home centre-back Víctor Ruíz. The Argentine looks up at the ref, he's unmoved. Half-hearted appeal to be fair.

I should pointed out in that Gerard Pique 'handball' entry (see 22 mins) that the Barca defender was booked a few moments before that incident - adding to the rage of the Villarreal fans. They felt he should have been shown a second yellow - and therefore sent for an early bath.

Ref Jose Sanchez has been throwing the yellow confetti, booking four players - two from each side - in the opening half hour.

Villarreal have pinged the ball about neatly, created a few half chances. Here's another one. Barca keeper Claudio Bravo sprints off his line to head clear on the edge of his box.

Another big decision for referee Jose Sanchez. He's earning his corn. Neymar tumbles in the home penalty area, the Brazil skipper throwing his arms in the air. He wants a penalty. Villarreal fans want blood. The ref sides with the home fans. Neymar told to get up...

The home supporters aren't letting that one lie, piping up about every decision made by the ref. Home boss Marcelino won't zip it either - and it lands him in bother. Referee Jose Sanchez is fed up of his lip, sending the suited Villarreal gaffer up to the stands.

Villarreal are furious. They think Gerard Pique handballs just outside the penalty box after sliding in on Roberto Soldado. Yes, the ball hits his arm. But was it intentional? No chance.
