A look at the history books says that we can look forward to at least some goalmouth action in the second half.

In the last 22 meetings, there has not been a goalless draw.

And when it comes to Derby, there was the drama at Rotherham last week where the Millers rescued a draw with THREE late goals.

Looking ahead to this afternoon's games...

While their rivals have faltered, Burnley have gone merrily along picking up win after win to go well clear at the top of the Championship.

The Clarets host mid-table Wolves, while Brighton will move back up to second if they win at struggling MK Dons.

At the wrong end of the table, Bolton begin life after the departure of manager Neil Lennon with a trip to Bristol City - who are themselves after points to move clear of relegation trouble.

HT: Derby County 0-0 Nottingham Forest

It's a serious business at the iPro today. Seriously serious. But a very special pre-match involving the greatest of the great to grace the shirts of both teams was a little less pressurised as we built up to the game. Confused?

Well, BBC Sport played #TheUltimateDerby on Thursday, with two legends sides, selected and managed by former players, given the full-on Football Manager treatment by the computer game experts.

Steve Bloomer rolled back the years, scoring his first goal in 102 years but it was not enough to stop the Rams losing 2-1 to their Forest Legends counterparts. Martin O'Neill got the winner and there was inevitable controversy with a red card, a late penalty claim and plenty of talking points.

It was a cracking game and oodles of fun. Check it out, external at your leisure. It's well worth it.

No shots on goal. A good tally of meaty tackles. No yellow cards.

All in all, for all the plots and sub-plots to this game, it has so far produced nothing.

By the look of the two bosses on the sideline, they will have plenty to say at the break.

  15. Derby County 0-0 Nottingham Forestpublished at 43 mins

This edition of the East Midlands derby has so far failed to reach any great heights.

We are yet to see a shot on goal, with the game limited to a half-chance here and there as we close in on half-time.

The atmosphere is really warming up. The Derby fans were a pretty disgruntled bunch after a sloppy start full of misplaced passes and forced errors, but the last 10 minutes have been much better from them.

The Rams are threatening more, looking sharper and their supporters are responding.

  18. Derby County 0-0 Nottingham Forestpublished at 36 mins

Tom Ince has a go from a long way out. It would have been a spectacular goal, but the effort from the Derby County winger fizzes over Dorus de Vries' crossbar.

Ince just tried to force something from nothing there. Options limited all around him after receiving the from George Thorne.
