Well that's it from us, after what's been a hectic but very fun few hours. Hope you've enjoyed following #TheUltimateDerby with us - Nottingham Forest fans probably more so than Derby fans, given the final scoreline.

John McGovern has picked up another trophy - one to rival the two European Cups that Forest won? Possibly not.

As for Derby, expect big ramifications from this defeat...

It's all over. Derby can count themselves pretty unfortunate not to get a draw from that. The 10 men could easily have had a late penalty. Stirring and gripping stuff in equal measure.

A huge penalty shout as the game enters injury time. Forest left-back Stuart Pearce is lucky to get away with that after smashing into Raich Carter.

That will be talked about for years. Massively, massive call.

Free-kick, and a chance for Derby to load the box but Viv Anderson, who has been immense, heads the ball clear and Tony Woodcock immediately breaks forward and forces a fine save from Colin Boulton.

This was Brian Laws' reaction to Martin O'Neill's goal a few moments ago. Will it be Forest's winner against 10-man Derby?

Derby immediately start to go long having seen their attempts to shut up shop fail almost instantly. Six to play and an increasingly irritated Craig Ramage turns to the fans: "The ref has ruined the game."

Nothing much is being created and there are big gaps at the back.

A few complaints from the Derby contingent about the decision to send off Ron Webster, followed by a possible offside goal.

Big delay while Craig Ramage and Brian Laws both make their final changes. Derby bring on Dave Mackay in defence and switch Roy McFarland to right-back. Kevin Hector, a forward, makes way.

Forest replace Trevor Francis with Martin O'Neill. Forest really going for it with the extra man advantage.

Derby defender Ron Webster gets his marching orders for his second caution.

David Nish was the eighth man to get a caution just before that chance by the way, the Derby defender cynically bringing down Trevor Francis out wide. Frantic does not even begin to describe the action. 

The subs have really made an impression for both sides.

Roy's keen: Breaking news! Unfortunately Andrea Silenzi's international clearance didn't come through in time to make the team.

Yes, we can confirm Andrea Silenzi - Forest striker of the 1990s - didn't make it into the legends squad.

Forest substitute Tony Woodcock intercepts a backpass but shoots straight at Derby keeper Colin Boulton. Gilt. Edged. Chance.

Archie Gemmill shows why we are still awaiting another goal. He's had a bustling evening in the middle of the pitch but has just made a real mess of a chance after bursting into the box. The Scot somehow spooned the ball over from eight yards. What a chance.

A rampaging run from Roy Keane leads to nothing for Forest on the break. Derby are having the better of things, but the pace of Stan Collymore in behind is a big threat.

The game is crying out for a bit of composure in the final third.

Viv Anderson joins the list of players in the notebook for Forest, as does Ron Webster for Derby. It's definitely spiky.

The managers are not about to fail wondering what might have been. Forest boss Brian Laws also makes a double change, bringing on Ian Bowyer for the booked John McGovern, and Tony Woodcock for Nigel Clough.

Laws was overheard muttering that Clough hadn't done enough.

Within seconds Bobby Davison almost scores. He managed more than 100 goals for the Rams but was denied by Peter Shilton after beating Kenny Burns. Talk about an instant impact.

A double change for Derby. Craig Ramage brings on Bobby Davison up front and Raich Carter to play on the right wing. Steve Bloomer, the goalscorer, and Stefano Eranio make way.
