    Wojciech Szczesny suggested before the game he could stay at Roma next season rather than settle for a place on the Arsenal bench.

    The 25-year-old Polish keeper has started 27 Serie A games since moving to Italy's capital on loan before the start of the season.

    "Will I stay at Roma? For me, football always comes first,” said Szczesny on Roma Radio., external “I have the confidence of everyone here.

    “When you have the trust of your team-mates, the coach and the fans, as well as playing every Sunday, then that can only be for the best."
